That dish has always intrigued me so how do they choose which ball is sweet or sour ?and just how big do chicken balls get ? often see prawn balls advertised too, but Ive never caught a prawn boasting balls big enuff to cook

okay our review of China Garden the place is easy to find a short walk from second road , the dining surroundings are ambient and comfortable, the Menu is massive and varied. Drinks prices for a Resturant of this nature are excellent and superb value. Our drinks were served icy cold they gave the beer bottles a full zip cooler and your glass was frosty chilled---- perfect. House Wine okay tasted like a cask wine but good value As we are still seeking a good chinese resturant this due to its reviews was a must visit. However the food as in taste was far from a good chinese, though we would imagine it does rather well, as portions are good and takeaways would seem to make this business sucessfull, in our view the food really was typically a decent UK takeaway class. First up a bowl of obviously mass packaged prawn crackers, it makes you wonder why they serve these fake crackers , when you can buy fast cook origional prawn crackers world wide ,they could cook up a huge batch as they keep for a week in a paper bag so why do they need to provide an inferior product ? We ordered Cripsy Duck as advertised with pancakes , oohhh here we go again , we received soggy microwaved duck with pancakes , the hoisin sauce was of poor quality , had a very diffintive spicy taste which was not in its favour, The pancakes were inferior , thick and floury and looked as though they had been re heated in a wok, as there were scorch marks on them even though they were served in a steam basket. The duck was plentiful however, if youre going to advertise cripsy duck then their chefs need to learn how to cook it and serve it . Pesronally serving that dish cold would have been far more acceptable, but FFS wheres the crispy bit Followed that order with king prawns and cashew nuts with mixed vegetables , sauce was good, vegetables consisted of sadly what tasted like either frozen carrots or stewed , soggy onion slices, and red and green capsicums these were fresh, the cashew nuts were again way over cooked, the king prawns, well not exactly, just regular 16/18, certainly not king prawns. Decided not to venture further with the menu paid up and left. Would we eat there again , sadly No , shame as this could have been a winner. So overall nice resturant service OK, however our order was messed up and we had to re order second dish as waiter forgot. Drinks very reasonable , a comfortable clean alternative, but do not expect authentic chinese food. But if youre used to a better than average chinese takeway at home , then this place will suit your taste buds . Will dream of the day Chinese Authentic Cuisine comes to town as an option to the great local cuisine

We are going to try this resturant tonight and having read good and bad we will deliver our opinion , we love and enjoy traditional chinese food euro style canton flavours especially lets see how they do. if its good we will praise it, if its shite it will get its dues until then we remain openminded and looking forward to a good nosh up ps anyone tell me how long it takes to walk to from second road ???

yes it can take such time to prepare but all authentic resturants if advertising peking duck should have it on the hook wind dried peking duck is always pre cooked often seen hanging in resturant windows etc, sold in most chinese resturants the UK and in Se Asia chopped and heated to serve as peking duck or served cold , as an addition to rice noodle dishes the best ever Mr Poons of London a once famous resturant owner/personal friend (now retired) who is the recognised Grand Master of Peking Duck Cooking

However on closer examination it didnt look very good at all First taste of the duck drew a gasp, second taste horror this duck was obviously microwaved, probably cooked months ago and frozen it had absolutely no edible meat content it was simply dried shrivelled rubbish , authentic chinese ,my arse the other plate was pork ribs the pork ribs were boneless dunno how they do that never seen a pig without bones , Dont waste your money here 9oo baht unedible tasteless garbage not fit for human consumption the drinks were 590 baht two warm small bottles of singha and one small glass of a non alcoholic mocktail, pattaya people obviously need to re visit and re appraise this resturant 0/10 We have never tried walking out on bad food here in patts anyone done it ? is it worth complaining , tried complaing at a recent pastry shop just got blank stares would never re order another dish , heard some bad stories about waiters gobbing in your new order was hoping to post some pix with this but the new galaxy shat it self

hit Spanky's again last eve around 1am it was quite busy so we settled in , first thing we noticed was the cheeky mamasan from windmill, who had just started her new job so as we get on good with her , it was off to a good start , the girl line up has vastly improved since last call, both in numbers and lookers, again with some new smiley faces also from the neighbouring windmill, looks like the grass might be greener on the other side of the street,LOL we had plenty of fun and have to say its looking like it will be come a regular watering hole, great atmoshere developing , and good to see they are working hard to keep improving the place, The shows need more thought and "choreography" but they didnt detract from the good vibe and mood, clean surroundings, clean toilets, it smells good in there keep it up guys we will be back, sorry we had to depart around 2am, to run to grab our barfine thanks to all the girls / staff for the extra fun (.)(.)

hey its really quiet though best ever for a music festival been here last 4 consecutive festivals and congestion was awful the baht buses were a nightmare stopping then trying to get a private fare into central it made life a misery walking steet was wall to wall peeps, but its virtually non existent this year, they advertise nearly 500,000 folks come down for it but even the bus loads are thin on the ground for us heading into central from jomtien since friday have not encountered one traffic hold up its perhaps a trifle too hot or they just didnt get the message out hard and fast about the date changes
