Most standard rooms face Soi 13 with the building work in progress

Most De-luxe rooms face sea, pool, and Beach Road.

Member rate for De-luxe room 1200 per night

As far as I know both standard and de-luxe rooms are the same inside

Hope this helps

Yep your right clubman, higher up, away from soi 13, sea views and a bigger balcony. Actually quite nice rooms.

Agree........ just FYI, I bumped into one of the girls from Sandy Springs in the street a couple of weeks ago, she said they were getting Internet access in the next month. I took that to mean broadband although she didn't really understand what type. Cheers

Suite at Sandy Spring is 1900 well worth it

Suite on the 8th floor is 2500 Baht. I think the 2500 Baht suites are real suites i.e. have one huge bathroom with separate tub and shower and a kitchen counter and sink though no kitchen facilities. The 1900 Baht suites are two adjoining rooms with two smaller bathrooms, etc, and on lower floors. If I'm wrong maybe some-one can advise.

The value question is a personal decision. I like the extra space and the separate shower so I've enjoyed the 2500 Baht suites twice and I'm booked in for 5 days in June. But I'm back in November for 10-14 nights and that may be too long to pay the premium price so I may look around in June for something cheaper but with similar facilities. Areca seems worth dropping in for a look and the apartments across the Soi from Sandy Spring may be worth looking at though the construction may be a problem. I'd be interested in other BMs thoughts.

Can anyone tell me what a suite for 1990b is like? Is it 2 adjoining rooms? How is it arranged? Does it have a couch? I am just trying to get a feel for the place is all. If it is worth that much is all i am trying to figure out, and why? Thanks

jimmac the joint across the Soi is the Inn House. I checked it out last time I was there and the rooms were a lot smaller than the Sandy Spring. I think that I read somewhere that they kick up a bit if you bring more than two T.G's back.

I had a suite for 1900 baht. Room 701 I think. Anyway when you walk in straight ahead is a small hall with closet and the bathroom (which is normal sized). To your left is a very large bedroom with tv. Balcony looks out over soi 13. To your right as you walk in is the living room area. Has a couch and tv. Also another small balcony that looks between buildings. It is nice, I would guess it is just two rooms made into a suite. I like the idea of being able to wake up and watch tv while tg is sleeping. Residence Garden is better as you have two seperate rooms with a door you can close between them. Cheaper also but do not really like having to catch the baht bus back at night.
