Can any one advise when there is a low period of travel/tourism in Pattaya? My travels in the past always seem to coincide with the fleet or a large influx of vacationers in the area.

From my experiences i would say march through to october time is the quietest/low period mate and i would say that the prices for Flights, Hotels etc are also at their cheapest at that time of year.

Hope this helps!!

While the slow season is basically from Songran to Loy Katrong, or April to November, that is not always the cheapest time to travel. At least in the States, the airfares go up in the summer no matter where you are going.

Pattaya is best when the crowds are up, hotels and bars full.

Hard to enjoy yourself in a ghost town.

Plus you become the main target for all BG's, good for a day or 2 but soon wears thin.

Good words sexyman.

I have not been to Pattaya during all months, but based on my own experience May/June and September are my favourite months....

Much better than December, January and February when it's really crowded.

Just visited a week ago and it was pretty thin of tourists. I was the only farang on Soi 6 one afternoon and my BBBJ giver of the day was begging me to come back tomorrow and the next day because she "lub me too mutt" :grin-jump

I haven't heard of a carrier group being in Pattaya for a few years. The annual Cobra Gold exercise takes place in May. I 2nd what irishman said about flight in the summer from the US. Its one of the highest times as many take their vacation at that time and most of your foreign students from Asia are flying home to visit family. This is the time that I use my FF miles for free trips. Hotels are cheap at this time.

So, January is the busiest time?

I could come up in March -is that better?

And why would anyone spend $130. a night at Hua Hin? when the other motels are much less expensive(barring the fact that you are Royalty)

And, where da flux is Hua Hin?

Hey, if I am spending 3 weeks on this vacation the least you can do is hook me up with some good information. I Demand satisfaction! Oh, I say this with tongue in cheek Da Huh..... :beer

PS thanks for the time.

I went August - september this year. It was really quiet. I agree that a crowded town has more in terms of atmosphere but the avantage in those months is you get a much better service, it's cheaper and the ladies are litterly fighting for your attention.

An other small disadvantage is the weather, it tends to rain rather a lot.

Many people like this during low season................... but me......? I fucking hate it!!!!

Sometimes i just want to sit and have a beer and there they are(BGs) all over me like flies around a piece of shit "love you longtime" "You want fuck" "you want buy me lady drink" "you want buy drink for friend of me" etc etc
