Domestic Airline- Bkk to Phuket

I am travelling to bkk in sep and need to get a domestic airline ot phuket Please advice.......

 

Thai Air

Nok Air

Bangkok Air

Air Asia

 

any personal experiences anyone? good or bad

Thai Air has about 10 flights a day, so there will be plenty of choice and if a flight gets cancelled no problem with getting on another one. They are the more expensive than the low cost carriers.

 

The LCCs have fewer flights and can have delayed or cancelled flights. I've used air asia and 1-2-go on internal flights and both were ok.

I've flown with Bangkok Airways and the flight was excellent, nice new plane and cheaper than Thai. They have a website and you can book up to a few hours before travel. Phuket Airport is quite a way from the beaches, I had a driver waiting to collect me from the hotel I

I have compared the prices and found out that thaiairways is way too expensive. Air asia looks cheap if I buy the tickets right away. SO SHOULD I GO AHEAD AND OPT FOR AIR ASIA?

I used Nok Airways, it was excellent. They only had 2 flights per day, about 10am and 4pm. They have a Nok Plus option too.....like a premium service.

 

There really are a lot of flights down there every day.

I've flown with Thai to Phuket and Bangkok Air to Cambodia. Both gave good service.

We flew air asia to phuket and return plus chiang mai and return in may and found them very good,yes we had a couple of delays/change of flight times,but no more than 90 mins but we were told of them by sms at least one day in advance and where given a drinks voucher at the airport also so personaly i would say yes go for it and book with them.

I have use Air Asia BKK to phuket several times. I have not experienced any delays or problems.

Avidubai, I have used Bangkok Air in the past 6 months to fly Pattaya to Koh Samui and also Bangkok to Phuket and had no problem either time. Good inflight food and good standard of aircraft. Depends on budget and times cos i don't think they are necessarily the cheapest.

I did BKK-Phuket and back 2 weeks ago on Air Asia with no problems.

Thanks a lot everyone. After reading all the info I went ahead and booked myself on Air Asia ot phuket and back. While we are at it has anyone in recent times been to the Amari Orchard resort in pattaya.
