Hi Guys,

I'm just off the phone to skywards in Manchester reference direct transfering of miles between accounts, as i was hoping to do the same with my sister as she has a load of emirates miles which she will not be using again.

They informed me that you cannot transfer miles direct betwen accounts, but she could book a reward on my behalf, once i gave her my booking reference number etc etc, same thing in the end i suppose.

Good thread and very worthwhile, cheaper than booking upgrades direct.

Unable to PM you as site will not allow me ! If you are interested i have 26,924 Etihad miles . If you still have your Emirates miles available perhaps we could come to some arrangment.

I know Emirates would allow you to credit my account for my flight in September however i cannot see anthing on the Etihad website which would allow transfer to another member. Any idea's ?

I would be interested in any Eva or Cathay miles that any BM wants to unload or purchase for me a premium(deluxe) economy or biz class ticket for me.

PM me with what you have and let's discuss this.

Am buying my ticket end of June, so hope there are takers. Flying out Nov 8 and returning Dec 8.

Hi Chivas

Yes you can donate the Emirates miles to my account / against my flight in Sept 07 (25,000 will get me upgrade on Man-Dubai section) The Etihad miles are not transferable. I can give you £100 for 25,000 emirates miles ?

Lets get the miles into your account first and you can pay after.I can email you with an invoice via nochex once miles are allocated to your flight etc.

Tell me how to do it.

Sorry Chivas the procedure i showed you was only if you first purchased reward miles and then you can gift to another member. The alternative is :-

What you can do is phone the service centre in Cheadle and say you want to gift 25,000 airmiles to :

Christopher Brownhill EK No 146410445 for booking code no CGD5T2 Man-Dubai 6th Sept. For the upgrade to business class i will have to pay the taxes or if you have to pay then include taxes on your charge to me.

I have 15,000 United and 17,000 Delta miles that i have no use for. Will transfer them to anyone for the transfer fee.

United- $0.01 per mile + $35

Delta- $0.01 per mile + $25

I also fly with Quantas and Singapore airlines 2-3 times a month and have a lot of miles for both of them. I can book award travel for friends on both of them. Willing to take a reasonable price! Anyone interested in these please PM me

I did not question his integrity (But I am yours') after this constant badgering. Let it go, MM. Let it go :D

This Topic really should be pinned. Every flight to Thailand is more money for FLB.

Pete, this is actually a money making opportunity for you. Set up a website that FLB attaches to. In return for a fee, the website would qualify the participants. Similiar to EBay but specialized to air travel.
