This was an interesting challenge, as Mod wanted a website and it had to be within a certain budget.

 

Now I had some idle time and gave it a try. Not knowing it would be a long/difficult task, but I learned from this, so it was worth the effort.

Still have to play with it a little, but it seems to work.

 

The rest is up to her to promote it and get the business.

Interesting idea. I thought a few more pics of Mod might spur a few more customers to sign up.

 

BTW, the contact button on the taxi page is not working.

 

I just checked it and all seems to be working at this time.

 

I wanted to put more pictures, but had to deal with a space issue on a low budget, maybe I can add a little more with a slideshow .

 

This was her idea to start it and marketing it will be up to her. I just helped her with the website, as it is a good idea and I always wanted to try my hand at one.

So Martin, nothing was said about this question, so I have to ask, is Mod still a hostess at FLB? If not I wish her all the best luck in her new business. If she is, she will be burning the candle at both ends if her golf project gets off the ground.....Reggie

For the moment, the golfing appears to be a sideline...but I suspect, it could be an occupation once it gets going. As I said, I wish her the best in this endeavor.

I'll give all some insight about this, as explained to me by Mod

 

She has been doing this golfing as a side job for the last 6 months or so. Yes, it does require the candle to be burned at both ends.

 

A majority of clients are FLB board members and she wanted to expand beyond that to establish a bigger base, if possible. The only way was a website, but one that could be done for about 500 Baht/month.

 

She doesn't have the PC skills to do a website and setup an e-mail account in conjunction, so she was asking about getting someone to help. It couldn't be done from an internet cafe as a program had to be installed. To me, it was a challenge and with some idle time, this was worth a try.

 

Mod is not looking to leave, just trying to make extra Baht with her idea.

It would be hard at this point to make it alone on golf/taxi, until a customer base is established.

 

But it appears to be a side business to make the car payment and have fun in the process.

I just looked again and the Home Button and the Contact Button are not working on the Taxi page in Firefox Browser. They are working OK in Internet Explorer. All other buttons work fine with Firefox.

Greg, thanks for the information. I will be looking to use her taxi service when I return in Feb and I am so bad at golf that a few lessons from her would help bunches. I watched her golf in the Rideher Cup just a few weeks ago and she has great form, to say the least. I will be saving her website to my favorites so when the time comes I can email her. I have nothing but admiration for this young lady who is just so enterprising.I remember seeing some pictures of her doing bungee jumps on a previous post on this board(I think) but can't find them at the mo.

She's got guts galore. :banghead

Is there nothing this girl cannot do cos' I hear that she's pretty damn good in the bedroom athletics department too ? :D She seems to be Pattaya's very own "all action girl" :D Good for you Mod

atta girl!!!.........Hopefully I'll get to meet her next trip Jan/Feb 2008.

Interesting. The first BG I ever heard of that got rich wound up as the single owner of Siam Country Club, not a million miles from Pattaya. She was also probably the best go-go dancer Bangkok ever had, ever. She sure is rich today.

am i missing the point i am hoping to be in pattaya late Jan early Feb and would be interested in having someone to play golf with perhaps alternate days (it will be a red letter day when i get round 18 holes in less than a 100) is there a charge for her to play golf or is the idea that she gets income from the taxi service and gets to play free would be grateful for an inclusive price quote to include picking me up giving me some pointers playing and returning me to Residence Garden thanks

The only charge to you is for the service to/from the golf course, as she pays her own green fees.

 

Cart rental and refreshments are "up to you"..

Well, I took the suggestion and added a page of pics {non-naked pictures} and one of her on the home page.

 

Still working on the buttons, it's not an easy fix, but will figure it out with help.

Just wanted to let Greg know that I just checked out Mod's site and everything is working great including the guest book. :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :clap1

 

Great job and I am sure Mod appreciates all your efforts on her behalf.

 

I also want to say that if anybody does play golf with her I hope they do the gentlemanly thing and pay her green fees for her. Remember it is the utmost gentleman's game.
