Have read that in early 2010 Hilton Hotel will open at

Central Festival Pattaya Beach complex.

Anyone have an idea what month it will open?

Some says august 2010, but certainly for the end of the year 2010, like Holiday Inn due to open first quarter on 2009 and finally open on the of 2009.

Hilton will certainly offer great view from the room and the rooftop restaurant, the pool will also be one of the nicest of the town and Paris Hilton will certainly come for the opening...

Hi,

Hilton Pattaya now accept reservation from 1st of December 2010

They will have "promotional prices" during the first months :

Cheapest room are the "Deluxe" and will be 5,000 baht/night ... :behead

+ 17.7% taxes ... :behead :behead

that's about 6,000 baht/night "only"... Hello LDOP ! :behead

Normal price after promotional period will be... 8,000 baht + taxes... ~9,500 baht/night ! :behead

You have 7 levels of price/prestation.

Grand Ocean Suite is a bargain at only 25,000 baht/night + taxes (~ 30 kbaht)

No certain that many members from this board will go to this hotel... :behead

It's great that it's about to open. I would take the 'normal' price with a grain of salt. The promotional price is a little higher than you get at the Hilton in BKK and I can't see Pattaya sustaining prices higher than Bangers.

Some members of this Board will stay from time to time including this one. First, the price is very reasonable for HiltonHHonors members at 30,000 points/night. That's a good deal. Second, HH members often like to accumulate 'stays' for HH status so I can see myself staying my first or last night in Patts at the Hilton just to get a 'stay' with the added benefit of perhaps impressing a favourite TG. Third, if you have status in HH you'll have access to the Executive lounge so the rate will include a great full breakfast plus two hours of early evening free drinks with enough classy canapes to constitute dinner before hitting the nightspots of Pattaya.

The Hilton opening is good news. Its a good option and good part of the range of choices in Pattaya.

Yes to the above!

And as a 17 year consecutive HH Diamond status, room upgrades too! The individual hotels have perks for frequent customers. The BKK Conrad gives free limo service from airport after 25 stays. The old BKK Hilton used to regularly upgrade me to suites. Though never saw any silk ropes in the rooms...555!
