I think that next trip I would like to stay on Soi 6, preferably in one of the hostess bars which offers guestrooms. Have already read plenty about Queen Vic & the other English/Irish pub (the name of which escapes me in this Senior moment).

Can anyone tell me which of the Soi 6 hostess bars double as guesthouses (even if only one room)? Any reviews of such accommodations on Soi 6 really appreciated. My only "luxury" requirements are ENSUITE bath & safety box facilities. Noise is not a big factor.

MANY THANX!

Agree with Mmaaarrrkkk here. (Ok, from now on its just Mark mate lol - that one is a pain to type correctly).

Soi 6 is a great place to visit, and I am sure its a good place to stay for a night or 2... but I wouldnt want to stay there for an entire stay. But... if you want to do, go for it! It sure would be interesting to say the least lol.

Most of the bars on Soi 6 have short time rooms, obviously, but few of them advertise rooms for rent, and I cant think of one of their names off the top of my head. But, that said, just because they do not advertise does not mean they would not rent... For this, were I you, I would just show up one afternoon and ask around. There is very little chance of your not finding a room on Soi 6, but in the off chance that it does happen, there will be plenty of other rooms available so you will not be stuck without a hotel. You can just wing it :)

The bus stop bar has rooms but have never stayed there but they do have the best hostess on the street named Ouy. Heard good things about staying there on other boards. Don't know about safe Etc.
