This is Mr T as I use him at least twice per month. As I said in another thread months ago Mr T has had an accident / incident and is currently paralysed and unable to do fuck all.

 

I think the business is being run for him with a chance of being sold on in the near future should his health not improve. I have been assured that the service and price structure will remain the same but we shall just have to wait and see on this.

 

By the way Meow the lady with the black civic is Mr T's neice, and pretty nice with it.

they are easy to deal with and good value with decent drivers who actually knwo the way around...

I booked from that site for yesterday. The rate was 1000, the driver was there on time, no problems. The ride was good in a Toyota Innova? The only problem was I tried to book through the site and it did not work, so I emailed them directly.

 

 

I used their online booking form & had a very prompt confirmation with full details of meeting place (usual arrivals gate 3) & comment "Sent from my iPhone"

Someone else (Dontcha I think) mentioned B1000 all inclusive, I expect this refers to toll charges etc !)

 

@B1000 the price is good compared to my last trip where taxi ordered thru my accommodation was B1300 & the driver tried to sting me for tolls!

My driver was still waiting for me at the arrivals gate even though I was quite late after a huge queue at immigration.

Tiny little lady I assumed to be Meow but she was called Pet, When she noticed I was getting into the front seat she glanced at my ample belly & pushed the seat back as far as it would go !

 

She spoke good English & was very amusing but after calling her Pet all the way to Pattaya I felt like born again Geordie !

Mr T sent a driver to pick me up from airport on the 13th Feb and sadly sent a driver to take me back to the airport on the 28th still uses the same mobile phone number and same prices. All i can say is great service never failed me yet.

I rang Mr T 5 minutes ago; the guy that answered the phone confirmed that Mr T still charges 1000 all inclusive from the airport to Pattaya and not 1200 like this con-artist is suggesting.

 

That's odd! I got picked up by one of Mr T's drivers on Sunday 01/17/10. It was 1200baht and a tip was expected, I gave another 100. I felt it was too much at the time. I distinctly remember the time before that in 2008 was 1000. However all the bf prices have gone up and beer prices too so I put it down to inflation. Oh well.

I have used Mr T for a long time and I use him approximately every 2 weeks. He confirmed to me on the phone that he is NOT part of PT in any way

 

His prices are still 1000 swampy to Pattaya and 900 pattaya to swampy

 

He did have an accident but his business is still in operation at present

I Booked through the website for a trip from Swampie to Pattaya for a 1000 baht. Got a quick reply saying the driver will be there waiting for me holding a sign with my name. Will report back how it all went in a week or so

1) Because it was booked long distance (via internet with an addy provided by a member of another board - I had no reason to distrust) and 2) the girl who picked me up was really nice and fun. I tend to tip because I have been trained to - 25 years living in America, not really a good thing but I have been brainwashed.

I thoroughly checked around and that seemed to be the going rate so I assumed that the price from BKK to Patts had increased.

I am told its Mr Tan is this persons name and was sent a picture of the transportation it was a black new looking Honda people type carrier I also got a telephone number and was told the meeting would be at gate 3 everything seems to fit but was just wanting to clarify if this was the same vehicle? I thought this because the last couple of times I went there the fl taxis where gone and this new controlled extorsion of 1500 take your ticket and get in line for a cab was in force.

That title can be handed to some of the touts who assault you as you come into the arrivals hall, tell you 2000 baht, get the cash up front then make you sit around until the vehicle arrives, then he drives you to a petrol station and may or may not swap you into his friends car!

The taxicabs, at 1500 (+50 baht waiting charge I think) isn't so bad. They seem to be good vehicles, the queue is often only a few minutes wait, and it seems more comfortable than having to traipse to the car park in 37 degC. I wouldn't say it is affluence, more tiredness that makes me waste 350 baht after travelling 17 hours.

I have sent Mr. T a email for airport pickup at the end of this month and got a timely reply comfiming the pickup. First time using him, so will report as to how it went.

 

Not using Mr Toom, because of no show at Pattaya hotel back to BKK and also having an other friend not being meet at the airport by Mr Toom.
