Definitely not 10 minutes, more likely 25 minutes or more depending of your walking speed and how long you have to wait to cross Third Rd!

Some other guesthouse/hotel was doing that same thing. At least these guys are very up front about it on their website.

Their no refund policy is normal Weekly/Monthly guesthouse rules and is adopted almost across the board all over Pattaya! Nothing unusual about this. Time to W/S you'd be pushed to achieve 10 minutes even in a baht bus!

now as we all know the streets of pattaya can hardly be called uninterupted at the best of times.

 

so the 1.25k walk on an uninterupted walk should take 14.4 mins approx.

 

please now take into account

1 other perestrians +1 min

2 blocked paths due to stalls overflowing the paths +1 min

3 beggars + 30 seconds

4 soi dogs +30 seconds

5 bar girls + 1 min (depending on looks)

6 those stupid fuckers trying to con u into "winning" a free holiday in order to get u to a time share meeting + 1 min to avoid

7 roads + 1 min

8 traffic + 1/2 mins

9 heat + 2 mins

 

these can potentionally add another 10 mins at least to your journey so now for the final calculations.

 

1.25 kilo at uninterupted pace = 14.4 mins

 

added obsticles = 10 mins+

so 14.4 + 10 mins =24.4 mins walking.

I know in the past years there were no bahtbuses going up Pattaya Tai Rd that continued passed the turn off to Soi Bua Khao, in the late nights, how about it nowadays?

Are there really regular bahtbuses from the Second Rd/ Pattaya Tai crossing going up passed Third Rd crossing and beyond

in the late night, let's say 3-4 O'Clock in the mornings?

Or is it either walking or hiring a bahtbus as a taxi for 100 baht!?

Back in the day, I could stride out at 4 mph. Now that's a pretty good pace on the treadmill. If I tried it in the heat of Pattaya, I'd be soaked by the time I got to Walking Street

Sorry, but I can explain that one of my guest opened the window in his room all day long without being inside his room. I don't know what to say. Just explain that we are apartments ,not a hotel. Guests should lock and close everything door and windows before they are going out. Then, it's safe for your stuffs. It's only one guest who was unlucky. I don't know how to say but there are many guests who have no problem. Also, that's guest took the girl outside to his room before this situation happened.

Well, I think in his case, I tried to do my best. We were new to run 2 month business. I did sorry for him many times and gave him more securities. Now,we change the camara position. The rooms are only 9 rooms here with key card system. Just only the guests who are brought from outside that I don't have their detail. I think I am a business man here. I can't be perfect but I do my best for my business. If I have to get the bad time , I don't give up. YOu will see my progessive of my business. I still creat 100 rooms more in my area space this year. This place gonna be a good residential area in town soon. God bless me,please.

When you do business , YOu have no chance to avoid the problems. For myself, I will solve it. I'm not run away. I have never wished only one day business. I think I can do. I understand that the businesses here are going slower than before. But I want to tell everyone here that I do my business with honest. Maybe my business is the same with some expat here, but I do nothing wrong about it. I'm not happy to meet all kind problems. I think I will show you that I'm a real working man. I 'm still young and have a chance to improve my business. If YOu are afraidn, I understand you.Here is not your home. But I would say indeed that I will take care my customers all the best. If you have never been here, please don't complain as long as you don't know me well and my place also. One guy had problems and tell 10 friends. Doesn't mean 10 people have problems but 10 all complain me. It's not fair. I'm not giving up for sure. For someone who are open mind , you can give me chance to talk to me.
