Recommended Posts

For all Aussies about to get a new tourist visa for the next trip wait until 11th of May.

I rang the consulate in Melbourne and that is what they told me. Maximum 2 entries. Saves $90.00

I would assume it is for visa's issued after May 11,but you dont actually need a visa unless you plan on staying longer than 1 month.

check if they have any conditions to the visa issue before you go to the office. last year the brisbane office wanted to see proof of onward travel and would not issue the visa on the spot, they would post passport back to you two days later. I ended up paying the fee.

Last year they wanted me to provide flight itinerary with the application, so I just included email from booking agent and it was no problem.
