Hi,

 

my girl-friend and I are planing to stay at the Penthouse Hotel for a few nights in July. We tried to find some up-to-date information here in the forum but did not manage to get answer to our questions. As the site of the hotel is a little bit confusing, you might be able to help us out?

 

1. How much does it normally cost to get one (two) girl(s) from the Kitten Club to join a couple for one night in the suites? One have to pay for the girl and a bar fee?

2. We read about a rule of the Penthouse Hotel that if there are more than three persons in a room, 500 baht have to be paid for each additional person. Is that correct? So if we as a couple want to take two girls with us, we have to pay 500 baht to the hotel?

3. Do you have general experiences with the Penthouse hotel? We´d like to rent we Relax 3 suite.

3.I liked it the 2 times I stayed there. Stayed in the cheapest room they had right over their go-go bar. Never made it to breakfast.

Some people like it some people don't

4. Doesn't matter were you got the girl. They don't care.

5. Means you don't have to pay to get into their club...

Penthouse used to get some nice reviews but the last few years I don't remember hearing anything good about them. Generally if a hotel charges for extra girls it is for non paying girls. IE, your bar fined ladies. You and your wife would not be included in that as you are both registered guests. I know Areca charges for anything more than one girl brought back. First girl no charge, two or more and there is a fee for the second girl, third girl etc. At least that's how it usually works most places. I would get this nailed down as the fees could add up to some serious money. A cover charge is a fee charged just to enter the bar. I can't think of any place right off hand but it's possible some of the upscale places might have it.

I say stay at the Penthouse as it's quite unique. The nice thing about Thailand is that you can always go to another nearby hotel the next day if you want.

 

Btw, I think the only thing prohibited is no more than three goats at a time...

Great place to stay. The rooms are really unique. You will find a lot of criticism about bills getting padded up with stuff that you didn't use, never really happened to me and I have spent atleast a 100 nights there over 5 years. I haven't been there in the last three years and so my info is not current.

 

You can take a girl, boy or anything inbetween from anywhere. I even had a Russian lady visit me (I even asked clarifiction from the reception before getting her in, they were ok) They will register your guest if you want them to. Not sure if you can have more than one guest though...

I suspect you haven't read enough reviews and are going to be in for an unpleasant surprise!

Spent a night there this past Feb. and had a great time. Took 2 girls from a walking St gogo and had no problmes or added cost.

 

The room was large and very unique as someone else said. The hotbut was large enough for the 3 of us to have fun. the lights and mirrors over the bed added some fun. The girls enjoyed the dance pole and the sex swing. I didnt hear any noise from the club down stair or from anything outside for that matter.

 

It had an in room safe which I liked, they also had everything right there in case you forget anything from condoms to toothbrush to shower cap. There is a charge if you use this stuff but it is nice to have it that close if you run out of something.

Ineresting, it's the first hotel I heard about [in Spain] before coming to Pattaya 10 years ago and haven't set foot in there yet, let me know if it's worth a visit.

Yep, It's a ripoff joint, bar and hotel. I heard it's nearly all Ladybodys that work in there now.

I've stayed there a few different times and always rented one of the party suites complete with huge bath tub, sex swing, dance pole and mirrored ceiling. If I recall the room was right around $100.00 US dollars per night and in my opinion it was money well spent. I had a blast there and took two girls each night....It was also kind of fun being able to watch the live action going on downstairs in the club on the TV set. I would stay there again and would say try it.....Like the other BM said...If ya don't like it change hotels the next morning......But me thinks you're gonna have a great time!!

I have to stop in for a drink every trip. The place is, or was, just so over the top and used to give me the creeps. Like going into a fun house at a cheap carnival.

 

Was there in March and it looked like they did some work inside the gogo. CLeaned it up and redid the furniture. Maybe even changed some of the staging???

 

There was a high percentage of Katoeys dancing. Some very darn good and it took me a while to sort out the meat from the muffins.

 

They also seemed to have toned down on the annoying sales pitches, scratch off tickets and raffles.

 

Never stayed in a room though.

I stayed there back in 2003 with no complaints. I'll be staying there this weekend. My buddy did the reservations. I'll be at FLB sometime Sunday.
