This Wednesday coming the 28th of July The Drunken Duck is celebrating our official opening party

 

There will be Live Music, So see you from 8pm for the free food,

and expect to have a ball with the lovely Drunken Duck ladies on hand to look after you.

 

There will be a terrific Indian buffet free for those that turn up provided by

ABC – Alexander’s British Cuisine 038424324

 

The buffet will consist of Chicken Vindaloo , Chicken Balti ,

Chicken Korma , Poppadoms , Curried Pasties , Pilau rice , Naan bread .

 

There will also be Thai food for your Thai partners.

 

There will also be Roasted Pig on a Spit

 

So along with great people, great music, drinks specials , the lovely girls and

your comrades it should be a great night .

 

Looking forward to seeing at The Drunken Duck

Was making this on the same night as the GoGo Promo Barcrawl intentional?

 

Will be on the crawl, so I won't be able to make it. Most others will be the same, I think. Too bad... would have liked to come.

WTF Frosty? Green Malaka has an interest in DD, as a lot of people know. DD is now ready for an opening party, thanks to great efforts on the part of TTT and GM.

GM has to leave for Canada on Thursday.

Bars are closed on Monday and Tuesday.

That leaves Wednesday to have the opening bash. Not much option if he is to be there.

I think a lot of the regulars will be there for the barcrawl and go on to DD later, at least I certainly will.

It's just an unfortunate clash of dates, but we'll manage as we always do.

But why on earth do you think that TTT and GM, who have graced many a barcrawl in the past, would intentionally sabotage one by arranging an opening party that clashes? It's life, some things are unavoidable.

See you at DD after the crawl, me old mate.

That's why I posted. I figured it was a "oops" moment.

 

Didn't know GM was out on Thursday. Bad timing is right. On any other bar crawl it would just be an inconvenience... but you know how the gogo promo goes. We will all be right trashed by the end of it. I know I will not be in any condition to drink any more by the end of it.

 

Will make it a point to stop in and see GM beforehand tho - too bad he has to scoot back to the north so fast. Was a short trip.

But then... I suspect poof means something a little different on that side of the pond. On my side it refers to ... um... sexuality :)

 

And... For the record, I hate Bud. Never drank american beers (Corona when I was forced in to it). My drink of choice stateside was either Jager Blaster or Long Island.

 

Will try to make it out there after the crawl... But kinda doubt it. 14 beers in 4 hours does me in every time.

Before deciding on a party date we had a discussion

with Hammer about celebrating on the bar crawl night

and the reasons why

 

Hammer was fine with it and we are fine with it

 

See you after the crawl if you can make it

 

First drink on us for all that show up with Hammer's crawl

 

TTT & GM

 

We have parties booked for the month of August

which we have also discussed with Hammer

 

We hope you can make one if not all

By the way, its Fern's birthday today. Been a big week for her... Graduated on Thursday and Birthday today. :grin-jump
