Yeah its getting like the early 80's , Hope Border can get a heap of runs and its rains for three days and we can force a draw.

 

The Ashes is lost , I cant see us winning 2 tests.

Hussey is extremely well liked by his team mates but Ponting is the man. Great captain, great leader and great batsmen and totally loyal to his team. I think Clarke will be the next and if he is injured I reckon they'll go with Haddin (but just my humble opinion).

Hussey has a test average of about 55 his first 20 odd tests he averaged 90 and his last 30 has averaged 20 , he was very fortunate to even be in the side for the start of the ashes series , he has found a little bit of form but his spot cannot be be guaranteed for any great length.

 

IMO their is no danger of Ponting loosing the captanicy and if he did it would go to Clarke
