Has Anybody Had Their Ears Cleaned In Pattaya, From a barber

I had a haircut and shave at a barber in Soi Bukeow,the barber asked would you like your ears cleaned i though

 

why not big mistake the pain was terrible it felt that some one was inserting an iron hook inside my ear

 

i couldnot see what he was doing as i had a towel over my eyes,thinking about it its a very stupid think to have

 

done letting some untrained person root about something as sensitive as your ears,never again.an experience not to be

 

recommended or repeated.

your ears have their own cleaning system and nothing smaller that your finger should enter your ears let alone a Thai barbers equipment which im sure is not to hygenic

I had the ear cleaning at a barber shop on Soi Buckaroo as well, perhaps the same one as the OP, but I enjoyed it.

 

No pain at all. Maybe my ultra waxy ear canals saved me.

It's better having the ears cleaned over on Soi6.

I stupidly let a barber in Soi Exite dewax my ears and had a painful infection set in within a couple of hours. I had to get some drops from the Pharmacy and Neurofem painkillers to put it right but it took a couple of days before the pain subsided.

Yes, from a barber but you shouldnt let them do it.

 

Many years ago i bought a pack of payless cotton buds and was cleaning my ears and the cotton came off the stick and lodged deep in my ear had to go to the doctor to get it out and in his opinion the cottom buds on a stick should be banned way to dangerous to stick anything deep into your ear.

A local barber once cleaned my ears. It didn't hurt but a few days later I had an ear infection. I thought that was unusual because I had never had an ear infection in my life. I ended up going to the doctor. The very first thing he asked me was if a barber had cleaned my ears. He told me to NEVER allow that again. After an injection and a series of antibiotics, it cleared up only to come back a few weeks later. I had a hell of a time getting over the infection.

I never had my ears cleaned professionally until years ago when after taking a shower one of my ears got plugged up. I was living in a Tokyo suburb and luckily there was an ear clinic about a 2 minute bicycle ride away. I went there and he used a small vacuum cleaner like thing to suck out the ball of wax blocking the canal. I and the then gf were a bit embarrassed as many Japanese people will clean their ears with a little stick or go to the clinic.

 

 

For ear cleaning, use this stuff or go to a clinic.
