Cebu Air discounts

From the Morning Fishwrap. It doesn't say 50 per cent off what, but for anyone heading Philippineswards, it's something to start with.

In favour of the all knowing Joe this time I have to add always becareful with Cebu I have been travelling with them on various routes to and within the philippines and the most travelled one being BKK to CRK as mentioned here. NEVER TRUST the bastages ! I am always in a demilima as to when to book with them and when I get my main Asia flight booked I start to frequently look for the side trip flight to CRK. I am hoping I got it right this time (well I am satisfied with the price ). To explain in detail they have a year round fare of 3499peso and to quote the site this is •Quoted fares are one way. Limited availability. Fares are non-refundable.

•Fares are exclusive of government fees, taxes and fuel surcharges.

•Flight changes must be made more than 24 hours before scheduled time of departure.

•At time of booking, pre-purchase your baggage allowance to save time and money at check-in.

•CAB approved terms and conditions of carriage apply and are available online .

ok well now they advertise and do this on a frequent basis when having a sale i.e like the one here mentioned the year round fare is stated as 3115 thb which equates to 4433.47 peso as opposed to their promo fare of 2475 thb which equates to 3522.58 peso ! all of which as stated does not include luggage or taxes and the hidden one not mentioned until you fill in all the details WEB ADMIN FEE.

When I booked about 2 weeks ago for the same travel period there was a promo on and I bit the bullet and booked 2 days after the price went up on one of the legs by 200 bht. Anywhere else in the world they would be done under the advertising standards agency but yes alas I know this is Asia and more so the Philippines. Maybe they are the Ryianair of Asia lol

Forgot to add I got mine in Nov for 10239.08thb which is for 2 of us one no bags the other the smallest luggage same flight at todays promo 13908.16 bht mine was also marked 50% off !

MMM not so clever me after all ! was messing about on line last night thinking about meeting someon in Phils and I saw the same flights as I had booked now 3000 bht cheaper piss that ! ah well just put it down to no logic attached to cebu pacific !

I use the board's tools, exactly as presented, never try anything fancy at all. That is, I upload the pic, then "attach this file" and finally "insert in post". Might be your browser, wouldn't be the first bug ever discovered -- or a weird security setting.

But it seems you have the link to the photo, right? At least you can click that and see it, is that right?

In your post, I don't see a link. Just something telling me there is a picture there and click to enlarge, Clicking all over it does nothing. A link did show up when someone else quoted you. There was a link in the quote. It's only happend a couple of other times, except with your posts. I just can't see pics that you post. Weird.

Very. Wish I could think of something. Sometimes I see a very small little... kind of an icon/gif which if I right-click and "open in new tab" I can see the original photo.

Never get that from an original post on this board though. Photos seem to work very well here. Trying to think of what I might be doing to subvert that, and I really can't. I am the good nazi on this, just followign orders when posting pics from my machine.

First Browse. Then Attach This File. Then click to "add to post". If anyone spots anything wrong there, please let us know. What's your browser LD? Did you try another one just for giggles?

Cebu Pacific are the worst airline i've ever flown with, their flights are always late. Last time i flew with them was dec 2009, my flight to Cebu was delayed by 3.5 hours, which meant i had missed my connecting flight to Singapore with Silkair, Had to cough up 15,000php for a flight to Singapore with CP & the bastards would'nt even give me discount on the price of the ticket!!

Tiger airways is starting flights to Clark at the end of October so I am sure we will see a lot more "specials" from Cebu Pacific. the tiger timetable is much more user friendly than the Cebu one and I will certainly switch. They need to be worried about this new competition. Most of the passengers on the flight from bangkok to clark seem to be filipinos, perhaps heading north into luzon.

I have been using Cebu pacific for around 3 years now for travel to philippines and domestically and, in fairness, must say I have never had a flight cancelled or delayed in that time. Perhaps just lucky as they have hundreds of flights every day.

Yes I know what you mean having had the experience, and it does not take away from the fact that they are not the best airline but economical and appropriate for some destinations although they are now mostly on time or early this past 2 yrs.

You have been lucky and maybe not flown on thrs out or into clark as this seemed to be the problem one for what reason I dont know. Anyway you are correct the Tiger flights were on offer now up a bit also watch their pricing as its not clear until its too late i.e baggage etc. The big thing I think that will effect cebu sales will be the better timing of the tiger flights for the tourist. also the fact that in my opinnion the customers of Cebu are by no means loyal to them its just destination and prices that are getting sales so it will not cause a lot to move as a form of protest. I would only this time I had to book Cebu as the price was right and although there was lots of talk there was no definate information so rather than take a chance. Although I do remember Cebu staring in nov 08? with as good of promo prices if my memory serves me right it was £36 retunr bkk to crk back then and also better flight times. So it will be interesting to see how things pan out.
