Bird ( The Guy with the tattoed face)

Recommended Posts

I just read on Cherry bars facebook page that the guy with the tattoos all over his face that hangs around Soi 8 has died.

Very sad news , although he wasn't all there he was harmless ,

I never saw this still youngish man harm a fly, he used to hang around CB and the bar next door, never hussled anybody but was a sorry sight. He gave rise to much mirth in some, disgust or pity in others, but I always felt very sorry that he had obviously been mercilessly used and uncared-for. Clearly a lot of scum in the past had persuaded him that it was a good idea to have him submit to having their names tattooed all over his face for a few Baht and a drink or two at a time - hope they're proud of themselves, he was quite obviously uneducated and a simpleton, which surely should place him off-limits for any decent, civilised person.

What killed this poor little bugger, anybody know?

Rest in peace, wherever you have gone now - this life was not kind to you.

The guy was clearly ill, but I never saw him hurt anyone.

Rest in Peace Bird

Fuck it I feel bad because one time I posted his photo here.

Unbelievable that he is dead, he was a sort of an icon just like that lady with the white face.

He never did me any harm.

May he rest in peace and I hope all the idiots that paid him to tattoo their name on his face feel a sense of shame.

RIP Bird, hope you are at peace now.

And to the cu*ts who persuaded him to have those tats done, I hope karma will sort you.

Bought him a few beers over the years, harmless fellow.

Sad to know he's not around anymore.

Seen him around many times, but never spoke with him. Always came across as a quiet harmless bloke. I also thought it was disgracful the way some guys tattooed his face the way they did. RIP

At the moment, this post has negative 1 rating. Why? Who could take exception to the post?

That should sort it.

Ran into the bloke a few times never “knew” him but seemed to be OK to me. Would like a bit more background on the circumstances if anyone knows?

It is because of people like you that other morons knew to seek the guy out and take advantage of the poor soul.

In a roundabout way you are responsible for his demise. I don't know how people like you can sleep at night in all honesty.

How in anyway is he partially responsible?

A lesson in morality from someone who uses a screen name penned from a fictional serial killer.....so i'm guessing screen names like Albert Fish were already taken before deciding on Captain Spalding?

"The time has come," the Walrus said,

"To talk of many things:

Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--

Of cabbages--and kings--

And why the sea is boiling hot--

And whether pigs have wings."
