I went to Sapphire Lounge's soft opening today, and it was very well attended. There were lots of good looking hostesses there...in fact, there were some good looking ones sitting alone while I was there. The prices were reasonable, the decor, though not finished, was comfortable and clean.

Unfortunately, I was dragging a bit from the previous night's activities, so I only stayed an hour or two.

 

All in all, I think they had a good start, and the quality of the ladies was top notch.

With regards to sapphire lodge, we ordered the furniture 4 weeks previous and was told it was ready, on the day of the soft opening, we called in the morning for it to be delivered and fitted. The guy turned his phone off on us... we went to his "factory" nothing was ready.

 

Bearing in mind that we were 3 weeks behind schedule and we had given the girls this set date to arrive, so we couldn't really change the date.

 

Eventually we made make shift tables out of our upstairs ones and got chairs in from where ever we could. We did 2 for 1 all night to apologise for the problems.

 

Today we are doing free food from the sportsman again.

I will have to take a look while in Pattaya in 2 weeks. Are there other "Gentlemen's Clubs" in Pattaya? Other than the Devil's Den, where are they?

Two of us went to Sapphire and Exotica to have a look-see yesterday afternoon. Both places have upmarket decor and are expensively fitted out, very tasteful and spacious. Not that I care if not outrageous, but drinks prices in both venues are reasonable for the ambience. Sapphire had a bevy of at least 20 girls sitting around and talking, joking around amongst themselves, most of them of top agogo quality (most apparently work in agogos after their daytime 'shift') and with numerous extremely nicely enhanced funbags on full view. True stunners some of them, but didn't they know it. The words head and arse came to mind. We were completely ignored, not a flicker of welcome, except by a service girl taking our beer order and by two of the joint owners, who came over to chat - well done guys, nice to meet you. At my age and with my looks I don't expect to be mobbed by good-looking girls when I walk into a place, but IMO they are not doing their job if - especially in a new business - none of them make any effort whatever to make paying customers feel hansum, welcome and happy to return.

Exotica had around six young girls sitting outside in the pool area and another six or so sitting inside in the lounge/bar area, chatting to each other. None showed any welcoming signs whatever when we walked in and sat down, then one came over to my mate (bored him silly, as he told me afterwards) but I was ignored. Ended up talking to the mid-40s lady behind the bar - nice of her, I think she felt a little embarrassed that I hadn't merited attention from the ladies paid to give it.

I think the darkside crawl on the 21st will include both places, and I'll be on it, so another opportunity to see if customers are still invisible. No doubt other BMs will report back as well.

I think they should train the Waitress to first take your drink order and serve it, secondly to ask you if you'd like company and if yes, go get the girl. for you.

 

Nothing worse than making the effort to go to a venue which is off the beaten path, only to be ignored.

 

Good to hear that the girls are high quality but not much use if they are only eye candy.

One thing to note with these places, some of the girls are freelancers. This means that they get no wage and don't have set working hours. It also means that they could have been at Insomnia until 3am and will show up around 4pm for work.

 

I went to Saffire the other day. Saw Bushcraft and Hammer just leaving and didn't get a chance to say hi. One of the Mamasons name is Boom. She always remembers my name when often the girls I have spent time with don't. Boom is a good laugh and I buy her a drink when I see her. She sends over girls to say hi and even has helped me negotiating with a girl.

 

Some very sexy ladies getting around at Saffire. Barfine room Inc is 350 and a Gabor for the girl. They have played around with their trading hours. I think it's now 1.30pm to 10pm. Happy hour until 4pm. Sanmig 85 after 4pm and 65 before 4pm. Can't remember how much ladies drinks were, I was destracted by all the nice boobies on display. Look out if Lovedog gets let off his leash in there.

 

If you come from thrappaya and turn onto prattnamak turn left at the 2nd family mart (soi 4) and it's about 50m from the end of the soi on the right.

 

Went to Exotica. You have to climb a few stairs to get up there. Sa, a lady with lovely long legs that use to work at kinarree is the Mamasung. They have a pool outside. I was told Some of the girls will get naked and dive for 10 baht coins. Some nice looking girls, no boobs on display though. Maybe this is why I noticed lady drinks were 120 baht.

 

Sa told me they have a party on Friday (tomorrow) and the girls will be in bikinis. I might just check that out. Other drink prices same as Saffire I think. Happy hour same as well I think. Was kinda drunk by the time I got to this bar. St rooms, you have to go back down the stairs and then up some other ones. Surely they could knock a hole in a wall some where.

Went to exotica today and the happy hour deal is 2 for 1. I ordered a Samsong coke, got 2 for 60 baht! Guy near me ordered Singapore beer, got 2 for 80 baht! The bikini party tomorrow, girls in bikinis at 6pm :-( they have 2 for 1 happy hour until 4pm, free food spread starts about 3.30pm I was told.

 

Today between about 3.45pm and 4.15pm about 8 girls filtered in. As I mentioned earlier in these places some of the girls seem to come in around this time. So if you go early for the cheap drinks the choice of ladies isn't great or there can be a bit of a shortage.

 

Then I went to Saffire, there was a girl there that I wanted to spend some time with but she has been occupied other times I had been there. I sat down and as I was ordering a drink said girl landed beside me and Mamasung Boom the other side. Nice one Boom drink for lady and one for you too. I had a good time.

 

Place was a little bit quiet compared to other days and all boobs were under bikini tops. Heard that police had been around and they had to be a bit careful. Told a longtime expat mate, he said when new places open or new owners take over the boys in brown like to make it clear that they can make life difficult if they so choose. Bastards

No problem. Ther is also another one in the area. I think it is just called the lounge. It's at the corner of prattnamak and soi 3 near a Harley place. Apparently there is a gogo a door or 2 up as well. This gentlemans bar is quite small. There were I think 4 ladies working, 2 of them were hot. My friend had a st with one of them and it was the same prices as the other places.

 

This place seems to specialize in drinks. The have a large range of spirits. Wiskeys, tequila, vodkas etc. They have wiskey tasting nights, not sure when. There is a pool table. There is one room with a lot of books in it. My Sanmig was 90 baht. Didn't remember to check lady drink prices, was having some fun fooling around with a cute girl and playing some pool. Forgot to ask if they have happy hour as well.

The Darkside bar crawl went to both Sapphire and Exotica on Monday. There were (I think) 13 of us on the crawl. On entering Sapphire at around 3 pm we found there were perhaps 2-3 ladies in the place apart from the cashier. No sign of the stunners I referred to in my earlier post, let alone bared funbags, but we sat down to await events and have a drink. After about 10 minutes a bevy of (fully clothed) girls made a sudden appearance and the place was transformed. Most chaps (though not yours truly) quickly had the company of reasonable-looking girls, and I think they had a good time with plenty of friendly chat and a bit of hands-on. Lovedog turned up a little later, but was I think disappointed at the lack of mammaries. IMO worth a (return) visit.

Exotica was a totally good experience. Plenty of friendly, fun-loving, fairly attractive girls and nobody was left sitting alone, there was practically immediate attention. I will definitely revisit and recommend others to try it - well done to the management and girls, you were great.

Agreed. Sapphire didn't float my boat. I saw one a bit over weight cutie, and that was it. Erotica seemed to have more ladies, a couple that I would call barfinable. Mamasan put a lot of effort into seeing that each of us had a lady to our liking. She brought me two different girls that failed my first question. "How many baby you have" "No Hab" being the only acceptable answer. I explained that to her, and she tried to talk me out of my preference, then left after she figured out that I wasn't changing my mind. A few minutes later she arrived with a cutie and announced "Lady no hab baby" She was cute, friendly, good body, and her English was good, but she was to new and shy for a hands on man like me. To bad because I was in the mood for a barfine. I wasn't going to go to the next bar, and Joey and Gary each had one that perked my interest. Maybe I should have stayed and checked them out after everyone left. But I didn't.
