Use of capital letters

Capital Letters

Capital Letters? Who uses them anymore? ..... A teacher's explanation. Short and to the point.

In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, I've noticed that more and more people who send text messages and e-mails have long forgotten the art of capital letters. For those of you who fall into this category, please take note of the following statement:

 

"Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, or helping your uncle jack off a horse."

When i was doing a quotation for a business transaction,obviously this has to be word perfect.When i send replies on here i dont give a fuck lol lol lol

If i sent a post without capital letters and somebody didnt understand, then sorry MM, its their problem not mine. My life isnt surrounded by people that want to complain about the grammar of someone,s post,very immature at best.There is a time and place to rite wot i can rite like,but a message aynt it me old duck

Just think that not everyone here is a native English speaker

and that things like "to rite wot i can rite like,but a message aynt it me old duck"

can be incomprehensible for them... or me.

 

And is that so hard to press a Shift key when you write "I" ?

Or to add a quote at "isnt" or "didnt" ?

cum on MM,surely u know what dialect that is lol.My whole point was sticking capital letters up will not stop the dialects coming out,think u lost it big style then lol.Idefix was getting there but he was too serious lol,it was a joke boys.

We have an excellent sense of humor. You just aren't funny. And the audience decides what's funny, not the comedian.

If you are genuinely trying to make people laugh, and they don't laugh, then you aren't funny. Like I said, the audience decides, not the comedian. If you are just trying to take the piss then that's a different matter.
