Euro Champions League

Does anyone know what is happening in the Champions League this year. Will Barcelona be the best team again and win the competition or will it be their arch enemies Real Madrid?

There are a number of internet sites that will give you the current information and who has made it to the semi-finals.

If Messi remains injured Barcelona will have great problems beating Munchen in the semis. Real Madrid should have the beating of Dortmund though, who have been riding their luck of late. Despite my teams efforts though, I really think that the best 4 (by a long chalk)got through to the Semis. :nod

Well, Borussia Dortmund made it to the final. I could only listen to the Audio coverage on the computer, as BTV cable did not show the game.

Dortmund looked home and hosed until Real Madrid woke up in the last few minutes and scored twice (83 and 88 min). They needed one more goal. Both sides missed good chances. Lewandowski hit the underside of the cross bar early in the second half. An outstanding Roman Weidenfelder, the Dortmund goalie and Mats Hummels in defence saved the game for Dortmund.

And Barcelona humbled by a powerful Bayern.

Well done Germany reaching such a high standard...... and wake up England, Manchester United weren't good enough yet overshadowed the rest at home.

Hi,

If you were Lewandoski would you choose Bayern or Man Utd ? It's a no brainer IMO.

And Wenger? PSG or Arsenal? It must be tempting if the reports are accurate.

I don't think Bayern München or Borussia Dortmund have a chance to make it to the final.

I hope you didn't have any money on it.

Hi,

It wouldn't surprise me if an honourable exit was arranged for Wenger this summer. Too many Arsenal fans don't realise the great job he has done keeping the club in the frame with little money. We'll have that Dortmund guy if he is willing to work in Blighty.

I never bet against the team I have supported since I was a kid any longer. I don't want to put the mockers on them. I had a bet when Bayern played against Chelsea in the final last year and look what happened.
