Forum gone wild last two days

Yesterday and today, around noon Thai time (GMT+7), the forum has been inaccessible for an hour or two.

 

We've had to reboot the server each time.

It didn't happen yesterday that I know of, but it did happen today...the server just gets very busy and can't respond to internet traffic...then today, it healed itself after a short time.

For me the major issue is loading photos. I try to clear cache daily now but I still rarely get the upload options -option if you know what I mean and then trying to upload is either a no go or hit and miss.

That has happened to me, too, after one of the updates or adjustments to Invision. Turned out be some sort of incompatibility between the version of my browser and the version of Invision. Believe the version of Abode Flash also figured in. It usually cleared up after a few days and an update of the browser.

You shouldn't underestimate the healing power of a short time.

Well, it happened again today from about noon till 1pm Thai time.

 

System rebooted and back normal now.

No offense MM but it is highly unlikely that the server is being overloaded with legitimate FLB data requests.
