Hope Ireland does well for us,and if MH gets him to play like he can,we have a great player,if not,we send him back for his next club,as a free transfer

Hi,

I think I may have got that one right. Ozil is a good buy for Arsenal and I know there are plenty of posters on here who like him as well. Steven Ireland is an interesting buy for Stoke. He looked a class player when playing for Hughes at Man City. Some players like certain managers and play well for them. Ireland may be such a player.

He left a team that won the league by about 13 points.   Everton are above Man U , despite Moyes taking their best player of last season to Man U. Moyes isn't up to the job. He never could motivat

Do you think Man U would be 14 points behind the Leaders at this stage of the season if Fergie was still Manager?

So we can assume your in depth analysis and solutions for my team are based on this riding statement then ?

Hughes seems to be able to look after the Pennants of the world,TONY Pullis was no good at that ands aLWAYS HAd players he fell out with. Pennant,Palacios,Beattie,Kitson etc

Hi,

Glad to see Stoke trying to play a bit of football. I like Hughes and think he will improve the style of play. I think Pellegrini will take a while to sort out City but expect them to improve as the season goes along. Two great games today. I'll be shouting for Liverpool and Arsenal but will not be surprised if the results go the other way.

I always regarded Tony Pullis as decent enough manager and he did a good job at stoke , as for Mark Hughes , he was a great player in his day but i don't think he is cut out to be a manager and he will be sacked before the end of the season......!

So who is reckoned to be the first manager to get the sack / fall on his sword then. Di Canio must be the favourite, but I will take a punt on Jol at Fulham as an outsider. To be honest the league looks more settled in that department, than it has done for many years.

Hughes did alright at Blackburn a few years back. He seems to do better with less cash to send so he fits Stoke's demographics!

I was against his appointment but he has the job and is doing OK so far ... Onward, onward!

Di Canio an obvious concern but it's still very early days.

Absolutely no chance of that with Peter Coates, our chairman

Dougie Freedman I hope!

Hi,

I'm surprised there has been no Liverpool fans on here celebrating their win over Man Utd. Man Utd have an easy looking game this week so should make ground up on some of the others who have difficult away games.

Hi,

Everton done my lots of favours last year. Moyes has moved on but I like Martinez as a replacement. Even though I've gone for Chelsea for the Premier, I'll be with Everton on the Asian Handicap today.

Indeed, a really excellent match.

Btw, four matches per weekend are available on US cable. NBC and NBC Sports network. Plus other matches are available online. They have gone beyond what FOX and then ESPN2 did. I hope they are successful. $$$$$

Some of the Everton new players are on loan. How does that work?

You hope who are successful?

Re players on loan....... basically it lowers the wage bill of the 'owners' of the player and allows the player to play and improve his game when he would otherwise be sat at home scratching his balls.

Paps,

The Tot'num Hot Spurs ad that was posted a while back was part of a big advertising campaign for the Premier League being shown live in the US (NBC?).

Hi,

Everton do the business for wac one more time. My Chelsea mates weren't happy to see Mr Webb as the ref, they feel he is against them. Man Utd fail to impress again. Spurs look a solid side and we did well to beat them in the derby. A draw at Stoke will be a good result for most teams this year. Hughes is doing well there. The Geordies seem to hate Ashley but he has assembled a good set-up at Newcastle and they will do ok this year.

Mo's first ever win at Old Trafford! We, the crowd, definately won the match, (It was never a penalty :whistling: ) In fact I reckon Young should have had a straight red for the first dive, where you could arguably say that he delibeately kicked the back of the defenders calf :o . Mo has said he wants to stop the diving, so that is Nani and Young unemployed then ! Mind Sir Misery used to say the same, but it was he that introduced it to the United game in the first place. Crap match, but a win is a win! Campaigning for the return of "Evil Kagawa" here. :clap2
