Do you think Man U would be 14 points behind the Leaders at this stage of the season if Fergie was still Manager?

So we can assume your in depth analysis and solutions for my team are based on this riding statement then ?

Hi,

There is only one game I'm interested in this weekend. Chelsea v Everton. Anyone who reads this thread on a regular basis knows I'll be on Everton on the AH.

Hi,

Liverpool are coming into contention but can they win it with such a poor defence ? My answer is no. Arsenal play like champions to defeat an improving Sunderland. Chelsea scrape home with a late and dodgy goal against Everton. Moyes seems to be moving Man Utd in the right direction and I think they will challenge for the title next year.

I'd laugh if by some fluke ManU won the CL to deny the 4th place Scousers a seat at the top table. :bhappy

What have you got against the friendly scousers ?

Personally, I think Liverpool will have to win all 11 remaining games to have a chance of the title ( but that is not totally implausible); They only have those 11 games to play this season, and the top sides have to go to Anfield ( the old 6 point cliche there !). I still feel that it will be Arsenal in 4th; and that United will snatch that qualification place from them by winning in Lisbon, last witness to Celtic's greatest day! There goes that avian "moo" again!

As a Man United fan i was totally embarrassed watching that game last night , its seem's like the players don't give a fuck and are just counting down the days until they can go on holiday , also i used to respect David Moyes when he managed Everton and always thought that he did a decent job with the budget and players he had , but at this stage in the season and Utd falling apart i think he is not strong enough mentally to be the manager and he need's to be replaced at the end of the season , by who i don't know just yet but it will have to be some one with a good track record of managing a top European team.....!

Hi,

I turned the TV off at 16 mins and 11 seconds. Couldn't understand how Utd were just playing to keep possesion. It was one strange performance by the players as well.

It was the worst individual performances I've ever seen from these players. Ferdinand had a nightmare. Moyes wasn't even out shouting at them. He will be sacked shortly.

Hi,

I like Moyes, but feel he has lost the dressing room. I hope he gets another good job cause he is a good manager IMO. Tough job following Fergie on many levels.

Fergie comes out of retirement just like Scholes did? :D

He attends most of the matches anyhow!

He has just been found out.

He does seem like a decent guy though. I hope he gets another job. Maybe in demolition!

Way wrong mate .

Hi,

Way wrong mate .

How so? People have wondered how he would do with a better squad. He was given a squad that sauntered last years Premiership , + £60 million to spend and he has had career worst performances from his new Everton and Chelsea signings, along with every Man U player throwing in career lows. You can't blame the bankers for that lol!

Meanwhile, Everton are having a great season. The facts are staring you in the face bud.

Hi,

Last season was just a strange season. Chelsea and Man City didn't play to their potential and Arsenal and Liverpool are much stronger this year.

Seriously, did anybody expect Moyes to pick up the reins and match Fergie's achievements or improve upon them in his first season?

Whoever else might have been chosen as Manager would still have been up against Mourinho, Wenger, Pellegrini, Rodgers, etc.

Once Moyes has got shot of the spoilt Prima Donnas that only signed up to play for a Man U under Fergie, I see no reason why he can't be a Contender every season.

Behave. You could say that when Mourinho arrived, that Arsenal and Man U were rebuilding. Look at the individual performances of the players. You are the only guy in the country who hasn't noticed that the players have been putting in career worst performances, including Fellaini and Mata.

Nobody is saying he should be winning the title. But he should be, above Everton, and not putting in performances like in the champions league the other night. They couldn't pass or keep possession. They were lethargic. Take Spurs in the europa league. They were knocking it about and going forward and playing with belief. Sherwood has motivated Adebayor. Whereas Moyes has demotivated the entire Man U squad. Wac is just doing his usual routine of illogical thinking lol.

Spurs played like shit on Thursday. They were lazy all the first half. They were still lazy after equalising in the match. It wasn't until Dnipro had a player sent off that we livened up a bit. It wasn't until we went 2 V 1 on the night (2 V 2 on aggregate) that we started to show any spirit. We scored again to win 3 V 2 on aggregate but I wasn't impressed one bit with our overall attitude.

The Spurs Team are doing alright under Sherwood because AVB was never the right Manager for Spurs and the Squad carried him. It's a case of 'carry on as you were' as far as the Squad goes.

Moyes hasn't demotivated the entire Man U Squad. The departure of Fergie and appointment of Moyes as his replacement has demoralised the Squad. They were expecting some mega bucks foreign manager. Fuck them. Bunch of over paid wankers. Get rid of them. Let Moyes build his own team but he needs to do it fast before the name Man U loses it's allure to foreign stars which is already happening.

Edit: BTW it's not just Man U that's losing it's allure. So is the EPL. Sure it's exciting as far as how close it is at the top and at the same time watching the relegation battle but just look at how we're doing in Europe. The EPL is going to look an even worse proposition after England have a disastrous World Cup tournament.

I don't watch European league football simply because there's not enough hours in my day to follow it but seriously, what great player wants to come and play in England nowadays?

I agree Man U won't attract top players with Moyes as the manager. Which proves the point that he's shite.

I disagree to let him build a team. It would be impossible to attract better than he has, with him as the attraction, as we agree. And he has no history of building winning teams or even bringing through top talent. Anyone can fluke a Rooney every ten years.

So he's no attraction. No winning history. And no team building history. Feck knows why you'd sack the team and keep him. :clueless
