I have had Chrome installed for about a year but I rarely use it. I like Explorer that's why I use it.

What advantages does Chrome have over Explorer?

It works.

I'm using IE10 right now and it does everything I need it to do. I will happily switch to Chrome if there is an advantage in doing so. I await any intelligent replies.

I thought "it works" would be adequate, based on your reported problems.

I've not used IE for years. I switched to Chrome from Firefox a couple of years ago. It's quick, has good compatibility with all sites I've encountered, has a great number of useful add-ons from developers.

Nothing I could say to compare with IE tho, since I've not used it.

You might get better info looking for a browser review study.

What you're hearing here is a lot of us use Chrome.

Been using Chrome for a few years and like you, no issues with it. Personally I think paps ought to say what he likes about IE so people have a better understanding of what he's looking for a browser to do for him. Lacking that "it works" pretty well covers his needs.

I use Explorer because it works. That's all I need it do.

You can use a great add blocker extension with chrome. Saves all those annoying adverts on youtube, forums etc.

First bit of useful info re Chrome. Ads don't bother me though.

Edit: Actually, now I think of it, the video ads at the start when you watch a youtube vid....... does the ad blocker eliminate those? They piss me off.

Yes. The ad blocker + stops those. It's free.

Ad Blocker Plus is working nicely on my IE10. Thanks for the tip.
