As previously stated, my pool is devoid of marinade.

Despite the initial cold shock, I still retain my water.

And the Mrs, like Mrs Gonzo, will not go near it during this bitter spell.

I do hope Gonzo and Atlas enjoy imbibing each other's body fluids.....

Ahh your alternative………'SML' …. I've always wondered how they get the cats to balance on top of the bottles.

That's easy. First you put a funnel on top of the bottle. The cat perches on the funnel.

Sardines tied on string.

Cats are far superior at balancing and break fewer bottles than the ponies at the Chang factory.

Hear you developed the taste for the stuff on a night out with Bear Grylls.

I hear you developed your refined palate on a night out with Gonzo.

That looks like an impressive looking spa in your back yard. I would not call it it a swimming pool, as it is too small to do tumble turns. I like your manicured lawn. Surely, you would not need a lawnmower to cut the grass. A pair of scissors would do the job.

I don't know where Atlas2 swims his laps, but at my 40 metre pool body fluid from the Russkies and the Thai kids are no problem. At about 10PM when the maintenance man from the condo tells me to get out of the pool, he pours the right amount of chloride into the water to kill any germs from the piss and the ocassional turd left behind from the people without any brains. :chogdee2

So he decides to clean the pool water AFTER you have been in there!

Did you want to borrow my lawn mower to do your little condo?

I always swim first thing…... usually just before the sun comes up.

Lately it's been so cold I've been strolling over to the pool in the long white toweling-dressing gown I bought from a stay at Cabbages and Condoms. Security downstairs has started calling me, 'Frosty the Snowman' which I think is quite droll.

Cold this morning, but not as cold.

Gonzo had said that you 'soon warm up'……. and that's usually my experience but a few days back I didn't warm up at all.

This morning I paid particular attention to where I feel coldest and just like the wind chill factor on a motorcycle... swimming the crawl has a similar effect. My face, neck, shoulders and inside of my arms don't adjust to the temperature as well as the rest of my creaking frame. I think that's why my arms felt so numb and uncoordinated just before New Year.

Set against the disadvantage of falling straight from a warm bed into a freezing cold pool are the advantages of space and cleanliness. It's certainly been bracing and I prefer it to the very warm April waters…... that actually does feel like I'm swimming through a puddle of piddle.

For me Gonzo tumble-turns are a thing of the past…….. All the fluid in my alimentary canals has thickened to goo and I get dizzy.

At this rate soon the only water-sport left open to me will be to race the flush when I pee……… I wonder how many other people do that?

I have this very vague memory that where I came from in the U.S. midwest, the water temperature had to be 72F/22.2C (or higher) for a public pool to open. If it was that cold or anything close to it, it was strong encouragement to swim laps with great enthusiasm. That was when I was 16 years old. Now :yikes:

Bloody hell. don't get angry so quickly. You are a mate of mine and I feel secure again with you being a moderator. What about you using your influence to have the warning removed from my profile. It feels like a big burden around my neck and disallows me to express myself freely,

I never piss in the pool, as after a bit of exercise one becomes dehydrated and has to drink more water. The workers in my condo complex do a fine job cutting the grass down below and the bodycorporate fees are only THB 5400 per annum. Unfortunately, the body corporate fees for my unit in Darwin are about A$ 5400 per year. Don't get me stirred up too much, otherwise I will have to send the missus downstars to buy a few San Migs to steady my nerves. :bhappy

Now now, I cannot use our personal acquaintance to benefit you such.

I could have done with your input previously when I was being called a liar.....

You don't keep a few in the fridge there? Mine are in the little pool keeping cold!

Hi Atlas2,

We normally walk down to the Rhompo market in the the morning to have a cup of coffee and a bit of breakfast and then buy fruit and vegetables.

Hi Mate, Never mind. It does not really matter. It is good to know that MM with his sharp brain is still in command and gives his deputies limited powers only. I cannot recall calling you a liar. If I did it would have been in jest. I will call around your place one day with an icy cold slab of San Miguel. Aussies don't drink l warm piss fished out from a spa.. :bhappy

No, you didn't, another did, obviously you never went to the link.

These days Ozzies seem to be into the wine more than the beer.

I get sick from drinking too much beer. If I started on cheap plonk or spirits, I would not be around for much longer. Have another San Miguel and stay healthy. :thumbup

Jacko mate,

It has been getting warmer for the last couple of days. Mrs Gonzo does not have to cuddle up all night long and you can have a piss in you small pool again. :bhappy

I, of course, do not urinate in my pool.

Yes, I have been using the AC again......

The pool, we shall see, there will be a temperature lag.
