I don't know if it covers every inch, but all the public waiting areas, at the gates and elsewhere, had the "free WiFi" signs.

Even Nok airlines have free wifi at Don Muang, also (at least) some of their other destinations. In Australia, Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin etc. have free wifi at the airports. Need to get a password for some, but for others, you just use info from your boarding pass.

I used the free wiFi at Narita. works good. I could check all email, forums, etc.

 

I had 3 hours to burn so it helped spend the time.

Just flew in from Narita and the free WiFi works great.

 

This is a new thing. They used to have a sign that said "free WiFi," but you had to sign up with a credit card to use it. "Free but have to pay."

 

Now you just give them your email address, hit Agree and you're in.
