Sleep Apnoea can be a dangerous thing. My nephew in OZ has it and he has all sorts of contraptions beside his bed to sleep.

IIWY I would get up to Bumrungrad and see a specialist.

I have been to Pattaya City Hospital a couple of times for minor ailments. Did not have to wait long to be seen and only charged for medication. It serves a purpose.

Sleep Apnea is indeed a serious ailment and is a leading cause of heart failure. Before spending a lot of money and time with doctors, first you should determine if you have sleep apnea. I was concerned about it because my father died of a heart attack. I left my computer on running a sound charting program while I slept. In the morning I reviewed the results and only saw 1 quick spike in sound. A person with sleep apnea will gasp for breath repeatedly while sleeping. This was a simple test that cost nothing and in the end meant I had one less medical problem to worry about.

Do they not charge a set fee for initial consultation ?? Very good if they dont

If Pattaya City Hospital doesn't charge for the initial consultation then I'll be giving it a try then.

In 2011 I went to BPH because of sinus pain and congestion. After the tests, two specialists (Con Artists) told me that my sinuses were being eaten away, and that I needed immediate surgery. It would cost between 250000b and 300000b.

I remember thinking that something wasn't right. No bleeding, pain controlled by over the counter meds....

I went up to Chiang Mai (had a few wild massage babes to visit) and saw the ear nose and throat specialist at CM Ram hospital. The x-rays showed no problems, and my blood tests were all good. WTF! I used to wear Pierre Cardin cologne, and his diagnosis was to stop using it because I was allergic.

I would get a second opinion of any BPH diagnosis.

I would think getting a 2nd opinion on any major health issue would be SOP, regardless of where you got the 1st opinion.
