How Do I Get Subtitles In Kodi ?

I have tried factory resetting and reinstalling the Lanzalad package on my Minix and that is easy and works well.

I would however like the option of switching on subtitles (including language selection) when I watch movies and TV shows with Exodus or another addon.

I can see the player have the option but it says I need to install a subtitle service. How do I do that (and pick the best free one - for Danish and English subtitles - if there are more than one) ?

I just searched around for instructions on the internet..... plenty of helpful advice there.

In case anyone wonders the wizard will work on most Android boxes not only the models Phil sold.

Which Kodi version did you use this with? It also seems that the file hasn't been updated since July 2016. Has lanzalad's support for the Minix stopped now?

I used it with 16.1. I am GUESSING it also works on 17.1.

He is not very active on his support board - but he answers questions on the other Pattaya board.

The subtitles kind of work now. Not as well as in Popcorn Time though. Wish I could get that to run smoothly but it makes small (almost not noticeable) stops every 30 seconds.

I would not say that about Phil (Lanzalad).

He is still very helpful and should be praised for that.

He COULD close the support site and stop helping but has not done so.

I doubt the boxes or the Kodi SW on another PC is illegal.

Some on the add-ons could be.

And the USE of the software to avoid paying for copyrighted contents certainly is illegal here in Denmark.

It is a bit like a hammer. It it completely legal but if you use it to destroy other people's property (or even other people) it is not legal.

No not at all its still going...

 

The update will keep working as all the addons are made to self update after installed.
