Residence Garden have decent kitchens, but you will need to take a song-taaw (Baht-bus) to get almost anywhere:

A price point would help.  Also why a kitchen?  You realize if you stay in town you are always steps away from lots of restaurants and food carts and they are cheap.  I mean OK I always want a place with a fridge and microwave for breakfast if I wake up early cause it's not a morning town.  But otherwise unimportant IMO.

But give a price range and perhaps have some ideas.

Welcome to the forum, Rick, but you need to help us to help you.

Have you been to Pattaya before? Any areas you like/dislike?

Price point?

Type of shopping? Loads of places for shopping all over Pattaya, from markets to shopping malls.

Those dates are during the fireworks festival,28-29 November.I have just read on the Pattaya news website, that hotels in the centre are just about fully booked and going for a premium. For shopping and to make things easier generally you need to be on the bath bus rout.Thats beach road and second road. From north Pattaya road all the way to jomtien.Check out booking.com to give you some ideas.

Yes mate but he should also check out Booking.com too.

Not only are there differences in prices but the "Guest Review" on each hotel has a Search Box on Booking.com  for greater detail on things that are important to you. I often type in "Parking" but the OP should type in "Kitchen"

BOOKING.COM "KITCHEN"

 AGODA NO SEARCH BOX

Just for the fun of it I asked an accommodation question on Chatgp. I would suggest this as another option but you will need to do more homework on Agoda or whatever with any results.
Remember the more details you enter and the more focus you can give, the better the result, possibly!

I wouldn't waste anymore time responding to this thread, guys.

The OP hasn't revisited the site since the original post, gave scant information for 'his' request and never mentioned Pattaya at all. Likely to be AI or clickbait of some sort.

It did remind me of a lovely weekend I spent at Residence Garden with a great lady who I brought from Bangers.

Yes, I took sand to the beach, I also took a couple of Banchang 'hostesses' up to Nana one weekend.

I think I remember the ads in the local rag, they had a woman holding a crab or a lobster.

The Residence Garden currently appears deserted and lifeless, whilst driving by the last couple of months.

I was walking past the RG end February,so I popped in to get some prices, they gave me a brochure.Reception was dark and dingy not really welcoming.

RG was bolstered by the FLB guys.  My first trip i came in after midnite and asked the security guy if I could get beers at the 7/11.  He saved my ass as an American I tried to cross the road looking left instead of the on coming Baht bus , we drank for awhile in the garage.  In the morning I met Mi Papa and several other FLBs by the pool asking should I go right or left to Walking Street. Papa took me on the full tour explaining in a day what would have taken a year to learn.   I met the love of my life at the FLB  bar that night, later in bed she said I have to go now. I said no please stay with me whatever you want. . "I have to go home to my husband now". Steep learning curb but for the best.

Bless her, at least she was honest about it.  The learning curve for some guys is a LOT steeper!

F.L.B. Su was the shag of a lifetime, but she insisted she was going to fly the F.L.B. coop when her U.S. Navy fiancée came back for her.

I guess that happened, because she disappeared.

near Pattaya i would suggest the Sanctuary of Truth,  and Nong Nooch Gardens are places not to be missed.

Forget Walking St for nightlife,  Treetown, L K Metro, soi Diana and Soi Buakhau are the places to be and all close together.

Wat Doi Suteph on the mountain above Chiang Mai is a must,  visit an elephant village,  and maybe whitewater rafting if you have the time.

In Bangkok take the BTS to the river then a ferry up to the Royal Palace, the Reclining Buddha and the Emerald Buddha (all are together) then hire a tuktuk back to your hotel. Go for dinner at Tawandang German Restaurant, great food and amazing show.

Good suggestions above.  For Doi Sutep you should dress respectfully, long trousers for men and long sleeves for women, or you will be asked to rent clothes to cover yourselves.  Look out for the guys in goofy-looking pantaloons who didn't know and turned up in shorts!

Also in Pattaya Khao Chee Chan, a golden Buddha image inlaid on a mountainside, and Viharnra Sien, a Chinese-style Buddhist temple with abundant displays of artwork and statuary.

Added:  Mulanithi Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan is a Chinese Buddhist temple similar to Viharnra Sien, located in Naklua.  While it's closer to Pattaya it's nowhere near as elaborate.

For a day trip consider Ayutthaya, one of several former capitals of Thailand.  It has a Thai historic district with several UNESCO World Heritage sites as well as various other temple ruins, and many lovely working Buddhist temples.

If you decide to make a night of it there, there's a funky little bar area called the Grand Plaza.  If you don't especially care about fancy digs and prefer to walk from the bars to your bed, stay in the Ayutthaya Grand Hotel.  Otherwise opt for the Krung Sri River Hotel, which is a 10 minute ride from there in a tuk tuk.  Assuming you fit in one, I barely do.

Pics of a lot of this stuff, and some other stuff including Pattaya, in my recent trip reports.

Ive read how taxi drivers can sometimes overcharge.  Is there  a service with an app so you have a price before you get into the cab.  Ive also heard that renting a scooter is cheap, is it safe on the roads,  Id be worried that when parking the scooter it might be gone when I return

If you are just here to see the sights and are in tourist mode, Walking Street is a must see,the big gogos like XS are amazing.Just don't buy any lady drinks.

The traffic and pollution around soi Buakhao is horrendous,it's an obstacle course.Like walking Street it's a must see.Find a street side bar for people watching,it's very amusing.

There are 2 apps called Bolt and Grab cover taxis.....

Yes a scooter can be rented cheap, you should have a home licence backed up with an IDP for the chance of a police stop. Park it in a safe place and take the keys with you. Roads are dangerous here.
