Yes I booked directly with their website too. There wasn't time to visit the lounges in KUL last time when I travelled. Tight connection outward, and late arrival on return. I once had time but had to hunt out the dicreet area where I could get a beer. Duty free reasonably priced. If one of the legs is an Airbus it is comfortable, but usually they are 737-800 which aren't so good. Crew good,

My flight was 19,825 baht return which is about $630 so you got a good deal. Not that great a flight though, no drinkies on the BKK hops!

I would be tempted just to bring the cash! Pretty sure HSBC will transfer Pounds, so their rate shown there is irrelevant . Maybe it pops up there automatically when the destination is Thailand.

I don't know how the system works in the USA but in the UK there are a lot of rental defectors. If you struggle to get a non-paying tenant out for several months that hits your top line hard. Agents are used who know how to deal with it... usually high court evictions but there is no money to be recovered. The agents obviously trim the cream off the income.

I darn't go to one of those motor exhibitions. These 'pretties' could persuade me to buy anything. I would end up with a Triumph motorcycle. Nearly ended up with a new Ford Ranger after shopping in BigC-X only the other day!

I have quite a list of people on ignore on Thai Visa, one of them is a Mod. But a lot of people there seem to be looking for an argument.... and a lot of Pattaya negativity. Can be a fair source of information , some of the Visa information is very good. Far too much advertising, makes the site slow and jumpy for me.

Thai have always been 'uncompetitive' in Biz Class.... I recently was looking for a flight to Bali and their direct Biz was twice the price of Malaysian via KLIA I hope this comes about, more competition and alternatives is good..
