Is talking about Corned beef spamming the spam thread?

The Biz Cabins these days are far better than they used to be years ago.. although I agree the meals and extras may not always be. Lie flat beds, bar at the rear, bigger screen entertainment, noise cancelling headphones, larger more comfortable lounges providing restaurant type facilities. My last one had a selection of drinks actually at the side of the seat, help yourself. Mattresses supplied. Herringbone arrangement which means you have a window yet easy access to aisles. Far superior to the side by side wider seats of years ago. Good privacy. Surprised you would think otherwise, or do I spoil myself using mainly Emirates (A380) Qatar (A380) and Etihad? Years ago there was no such thing as a Chauffeurs on my frequent BA Biz flights, although we got British newspapers and Stilton! I hadn't considered price but many many years ago a BA Biz was about 3 grand, I get Emirates for 1200 or so. The difference between Economy and Biz price has increased, factor of 3x or more now!

It happens, but some airlines deal with it better than others. I had an aircraft change in Switzerland, apparently the scheduled one had a lighteneing strike. I was most aggrieved that, despite my having a Biz Class ticket they were forced to put me in Economy, as there were many fewer Biz seats, and I was on a heavily discounted fare. They put me in the front row of economy and kept the seat next to me empty. They also fed me from the front of the plane and looked after me. Early the next mornng I went to the Swiss Air office in Bangkok and using a voucher was given a good wad of compensation cash, which I thought of as free money and I had helluva night on Soi Cowboy and Nana! When similar happened to me with BA I got fucked over in 3 countries and told to claim a refund in my next destination, until my final one, where they said I should have claimed it in London. London of course told me to claim in KSA! BA are twats!

Similarly versatile... can also be battered and deep fried or made into a hash! Corned beef, HP and raw onion sandwiches helped me grow into the superman I am today!

My flight back to LOS had a change of aircraft alert, but went upwards from a crappy little airbus to the Dreamliner. Had me land in Doha earlier and they brought the onward flight forward.

People dream of the days when it was only 150 baht... 200 is more common and I have heard rumour of a bank charging 220! If you do not mind carrying a lot of cash and the risk it involves you can carry up to 10,000 Euros equivalent out of UK without declaring it. Superrich in Bangkok will give the best exchange rate for cash. Slightly less in airport vicinity (see link). As you can see 50 notes get a better rate. In Pattaya I would guess TT exchanges are the best rate and you can haggle for a slightly better one than displayed for larger transactions. Personally I would be wary of carrying too much cash,,,, those room safes are sometimes not to be trusted.

Well they do have other aircraft....but even using B777-300ER they have 4 versions which each have different numbers of Economy seats.

Don't believe there are any nowadays. Depending on your origins you can get fee free cards from home, ie Citibank from USA or Halifax Clarity card from UK.
