Yes on the menu the service and VAT is already included on the price they list. They are shown without on your tab and then 10% added for service and then 7% VAT, (VAT also on service charge). My scrawny 10 wings were listed at 348.34, and add on the taxes that is exactly 410 baht.. 170 baht for a pint of draft Singha, bottles 150 each..... I like the fact that the menu shows inclusive prices, but things look cheaper on your tab. I suppose the 132 baht to watch those attractive girls walk around is a good deal, 410 for the wings is not!

Walked past there the other night and the place was doing well. Last time I ate there was for the Sunday roast I think, all well, good service. Pork ribs are commonplace and do mostly taste of the sauce served with them, it is all a matter of the amount of meat on them. It is a bit of an optical illusion of course, looks huge when presented but is mostly bones. and leaves an unappetising appearance when completed as does wings or KFC, like a prehistoric bone-yard. The soi 13 Sportsman has been there quite a few decades now and seems to have remained popular and of a good standard.

So if you landed 40 minutes early, your bags were on time, not delayed.

I told my Mrs about it and she had not heard of anything so perhaps the Thai press are not running it. I see Thai Visa have posted it, via Pattaya One. Some of the comments are fun. Meanwhile the pick-pockets are working the song-taews freely. He revealed that ALL of the card players were arrested and eventually released from Pattaya Police Station at 03.00am after almost 12 hours in custody and paying 5,000 Baht Bail each. They will all appear in Court later on Thursday, even the 84 year old Dutch lady featured in one of our photographs from the scene. What a collection of Keystone cops!

The police were apparently busy arresting bridge players. You should have warned the victim, but you know that already. I despise thieves. Not far from the time I was sat waiting there on a baht bus.

Yes I do, and I belive you have done so too! I actually think this is a good suggestion, or the other one, Pattaya City Expats Club. There are some good eggs go to these clubs, and many seem to have their heads screwed on, I know some from there who have known the same lady for over a year and still own their own condo!

Not much to distinguish between the Limos at the Manchester end (between Emirates or Etihad), had Mercs there. I only pay 1200 baht for a vehicle from Bangkok so a 2000 baht surcharge would seem a waste. I usually drive myself to Swampy. Some lower prices are popping up on Qatar and to a lesser extent Emirates again from this end.... they had all but vanished with Emirates looking for 102,000 last week, now 94k. It may well be that I end up paying 85-90k as not seeing much better. Don't like the Finnair timings.
