Are you taking a salary or expenses? First thought is yes. The official definition of “work” in Thailand is "to engage in work by exerting energy or using knowledge whether or not in consideration of wages or other benefits" (Source: Thai Ministry of Labour).

I stopped having Fish and Chips here, because I never knew what type of fish it was. As you say some were watery and mushy, quite awful, I was told this was a cheaper freshwater variety. I always liked a steamed grouper at Thai style places, particularly where they were recently swimming in a tank, but they got more and more expensive, and some seafood restaurants have ripped me off with the priced by weight result....... Even in the UK they just list it as 'fish', and if you ask 'what type of fish', you can get a puzzled look. Love a freshly battered cod.

Are the holes there to reduce the mass, hence reduce damage, or like a fly swatter, to allow it to travel faster and prevent a softening cushion of air at the point of impact, hence hurting more? Never been sure. A wooden ruler, or a cane, and the fearsome one handed Mr Sharples at my Primary school (he would drape you over his stump face down, hoist you up and the back of the legs were punished) made me fearful, I drank my free milk. Times have changed and I think... good they have on this subject.

I have this heat pack I picked up in Hong Kong. (Stanley Market) It is like a thick plastic bag with a coloured liquid in it, and there is a disc in it you click and then the liquid starts to solidify and it gives out a lot of heat over a few hours. To reset it you have to put it into a saucepan of boiling water for a while then let it cool slowly. Worked wonders on my knee recently and sounds good for your problem.

Perhaps now in Delta. I once flew with them in Biz (Houston-London) and it was superb, like a First Class. Good food I recall, lobster.

Yes, I also use Etihad mostly, Biz Class. They are good at Manchester and on-board, but I was never very happy with the transit in Abu Dhabi. Often having to go between terminals which is bad. Despite the BS they claim of 'Terminal 3 is dedicated to Etihad Airways departures and arrivals, while Terminals 1 and 2 are used by all other airlines'. I mostly need to transfer! Last time I went through (end of May), it looked as though there was construction work going on at Terminal I, so perhaps some improvement coming there. The lounges are too small in Abu Dhabi too!

Depends on the carrier, but Emirates for example, in First you get a private area 'suite' with a door you can close, and shower facilities.
