A few years back a friend sent me the details for obtaining an Oz visa as I wanted to travel there with my Thai partner. It looked a bit onerous but likely easier than what I did to get her to the UK for a visit. Particular if he helped us. Never took the task on myself, but if she is more than a bed-warmer, and you are prepared to pay, use a visa outfit.

Yeah, these guys seem to have surprising 'powers' these days.... can they not catch people using their mobiles while driving though, I see a lot of that here in the UK? I was walking in town recently after a few pints of Abotts ale and saw a car parked half up on the kerb with the hazard lights flashing over double yellows and thought 'what a cunt'...(if you put your lights on the fine should be doubled as you obviously KNOW you are doing wrong). A traffic warden was nearly sprinting in the direction of it.

Do you plan to rent the bike? I heard there were restrictions on how far a rental is permitted to go from Pattaya. I think the coastal areas East of Rayong and Chanthaburi would be good.
