Thanks for the feedback guys, I had tried on 2 laptops without success, but your replies made me look again. It worked with IE..... Firefox still won't let me in, and I think there was a recent update to 17.0...... likely problem? UPDATE:---- Well after screwing around clearing cache and checking security and firewall and all that good-stuff which loses all the numbers that were remembered and logins 'remember me' stuff hence ruining your browsing experience, I decided to give them a call at Bangkok Bank. After the usual 10 minute press 2 for this, 3 for that and whatever I managed to speak to a nice lady who could also speak English. Bangkok Bank Ibanking does not support Firefox 17.0...apparently....I am told! The symptom is you cannot even get to the login page, sadly the error page you get redirected to just says service is currently unavailable rather than saying it is a browser issue.

I can't get in again today... anyone else?

Haha.... I said something which amused the TGF along those lines recently...'problem with Thailand these days is that there are too many Thais going out'........ meaning I was struggling to get into some of the restaurants out of town,particularly those en-route back to Bangers on a Sunday evening, I also felt I was being subjected to poor/discriminatory service. The large groups, who seemed to want to compete with each other,were getting all the attention, my 1000 baht dinner for 2 doesn't do much for them! That and being a falang makes me invisible.... used to be I was a novelty!

Not sure I would get past the view from out front though!

I saw the bedroom had a door leading out to where there was a fridge and the kitchen facilities.Presuming those were not in the corridor or the bathroom, I am seeing 2 rooms + bathroom in the second group of pictures. If there is a separate small kitchen that is unusual, I was thinking along the lines of the Residence Garden places.

Mostly WS GGBs, sometimes around soi 7 in the Silver Start there. I may have a couple of cheap ones in Worldwide early evening.

Firstly, the plane does not go from Pattaya to CM...the original OP question. Secondly, the flight does not cost as little as some suggest, at the moment, nor do they consider time and expense of getting to Don Muang. Thirdly, the trip on the bus does not take 20 hours one way. You can go overnight, then you are not wasting your $2.50/hr. I think the cost is less than you state too....maybe about 800 baht each way on the bus..........dependent on class. Some might like to save the money and regard the time well spent to see more of Thailand. Yes I do regard 3xthe price as somewhat more. From my perspective, the chore of getting to DM makes the plane less attractive, and teh OP did ask about the bus.....

Looks like a fun day out. Did the weather hold up...we keep getting afternoon thunderstorms? Glad to hear nobody perished due to the under-supply of approved life-vests!

Back to the OP....... For me it is becoming more about the prices than the girl's attitudes. And a slight decline in the choice in many places (didn't they used to be packed like chicks in a battery?) Sure they are a bit more mercenary but it doesn't seem to hit me too hard.... the experienced girls take one look at my Singha vest, hair that hasn't been cut for 3 months, baggy shorts and sandals with black socks and they look elsewhere and let me enjoy my beer. The ones who know me come on over as there is nothing better for them and they apply a decent attitude until flash Harry, who wants to be the centre of attention, comes on in...and good luck to them. A warm beer at 145 baht for me, a 300 baht 'hit' to have a cute one on each side for 12.4 seconds before the dreaded 'one more for she?'....despite the fact that my regard for money is waning like my libido, I feel the vampire's teeth sucking me dry as painful. Perhaps I should swathe my ankles in 'OFF' repellent and join the 50 baht/beer crowd served up by the 80 kilo old-girl whose top and shorts are a few sizes too small, her make-up a few sizes too big and tolerate the smell of sweat wafting over from the guys who saw the sun go down there.

Well maybe this week as I hear you are staying in getting over the 'bug'.......You have to watch these condos.....sometimes the power outlets on a 'shared' wall can be wired to the wrong meter. Cheaper to jumper the sockets on each side together than run separate wires!

I just did a quick check for a return early December and the cheapest I found was 3400 round trip total...... somewhat more. Add the cost of getting to Don Muang relative to a bus station on Sukhumvit in Pattaya and obviously some would like to make that saving.Even mid-January yielded 2580 baht......looks like the deals are no more.

Glasgow? As many say the customers at Wallmart are a particular breed, or in-breed. The way these items are advertised and sold makes some sort of scrum likely, I wonder if they want this to happen.
