Well as an afterthought perhaps a mask and gloves will deter the other great Thai passtime of picking ones nose.

I prefer that they keep their head covered, I prefer that they are clean shaven. Masks and gloves seems to be OTT. (Do they change/wash the gloves, or ensure a mask is put back on the correct way around?)

I would be very surprised that Mochit did not have coach services to Buriram. Possibly you get off the Ubon bus.There is a train service too which could be a slower but reasonable alternative, easily boarded at Don Muang.

Some of the beach areas are a fair way from Naklua Rd.Can you get a regular baht bus from say central Wong Amat beach. I always feel it is a bad start to a holiday when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere, forced to pay songtaews a lot to get back and forth. I shudder when I see one packed to the gills heading down Sukhumvit from Ambassador City, carrying more than a Bangkok Skytrain at 08.30.

The PSC for international flights is expected to rise to 800 baht per head from 700 baht currently, while for domestic flights it will rise to 255 baht from 100 baht by mid-2013 if approved by the Civil Aviation Department in April.

A bit like the 1966 crap that gets aired every 4 years.But I have yet to see the huge performance difference between City and Utd that justifies the 'huge' salary differentials. Alright they whupped them in the league, but Utd did a good job on them in the FA Cup. Great to have an interesting season though.
