Well I am happy for you, but I have TOT out here in the sticks of Nong Khet Yai, and they are really terrible. Reliability poor. Customer service could make me go postal! I am a bit puzzled regarding the running 1,2 or 3 computers? Do 3BB limit the number of IP addresses the modem can issue? A router normally has 3 or 4 Ethernet sockets at the back which each will support a computer, or wireless networks can support multiple computers. Beyond that it is just sharing the speed (or as it is erroneously called, bandwidth) I thought 3BB was previously called Maxnet and a TT&T product.

Sounds like ADSL. Perhaps guys working on the lines, do you have problems only between 8am and 6pm? Another possibility is line quality, check in the modem/router for signal to noise levels. Is the phone working OK?

This would work for me, just bought a Biz Class via Qatar and when I saw the price figured that would be the last one. Have to change someplace and at the moment KL sounds better than LHR (haven't been to KL yet... ). Extra stop in ME though!

Well I agree that when the cops are in control of the lights one direction or more will be backed up.But all those roads heading from the Darkside to Sukhumvit are problematic during 'rush periods'. I always turn left and then rt passing Numchai and the Bangkok Bank. I am more annoyed by the fact that every car in front of me seems to have to make the decision to engage brain, engage gear, slowly move forward in turns. There is a hell of a confusion at Khao Talo and the railway Line Bypass every day. Driving around Pattaya is shite these days, don't let it get to you.

Good luck with that.By 'buy her out' there is still the issue of who owns the land.

Well that arrangement has worked for some, ie those who have had a disagreeable split yet retained 'ownership' of their homes.But I also have heard of nasty things happening like the lady getting some judge to sign something and she arrives with a few friends, trucks and policemen and suddenly the guy is living in a shell. And if the house was located in her village, on her land, I would certainly be looking over my shoulder. I believe the arrangement is sound, but TIT!

Don't forget guys, if you have a mobile phone for LOS, normally you can get onto the internet quite cheaply (Edge). In my case I connect the Sony Ericsson phone via USB, with 1-2-Call prepaid SIM in there. PC Suite connects me easily. Prepaid bolt-ons for 1-2-Call quite cheap... starting at 49 baht/24 hours unlimited.

Hard to determine from the OP.I thought he perhaps had the 30 year lease on the land, which is owned by his wife. If the land is actually owned by a third party, and a 30 year lease taken out on it in his wifes name, well that is what you said.
