  1. Rumored to work with Firefox, and I know Chrome works too.
  2. Yes, if you file in person at immigration the window is 15 days prior, to 7 days late. Why TM30 is so rigid is another matter!

Get real guys...non of these carriers transit via Tehran, Damascus or Baghdad. Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been stable for years. I would expect BA and London to be as likely targets. Probably a good time to get a nice price via Oman. I am turning into an old man waiting for Wac's implosions and predictions.

  6. Bill, I don't know how you are with a computer but doing a 90 day report on-line is straightforward.... well it has been for me, although the window is a little tighter than if you go to Soi 5 yourself. (between 15 and 7 days before due). There is a phone App too, although I have not used that, had someone recommend it to me today, but I hate filling forms in on the phone... not designed for people who have six left thumbs. It sounds like you have been subjected to the TM30 obligation ...... it is a requirement for a property owner, manager or possessor to register a foreigner at a residence within 24 hour of their arrival. Even if it is yourself. It is arbitrarily enforced around Thailand. But as is with many things here, presents immigration with an opportunity to 'fine'.. ie get money. It sucks. It is so stupid, I have been here 15 years and never done one for myself, I renewed my extension recently and it was not mentioned. I have only ever submitted one for a guest at my home once, that was a waste of a lot of my time too!
  7. Well don't forger last night's result. I always expect some 'surprising' results over the Christmas and New Year busy spell, it is the 'norm'....

Talking of baht.... It took a spike up and then back down again in the last couple of days. The US$ rate went down to 29.7, then this morning it has bounced back to 30.14. That is quite substantial. What kicked that off? Later Edit: https://www.nationthailand.com/news/30380025
  10. Is this where you are describing? https://goo.gl/maps/EsGA43dJVjKi4CiH9
  11. I don't know. My personal feelings are that if you forge documents, you open yourself up to be caught doing it, and likely that will affect all Thailand Visa applications. The days of assuming you can live in Thailand while pretending to be a tourist are no more. It might help if you can trim the length of time you stay in Thailand to just below 6 months in a year. Do you have any other circumstances that could assist in Visa application, for example a wife in Thailand? The easiest might be, if you need the 6 month to be continuous, enter with a single Tourist Visa, do a single extension, then travel to a nearby country for another TV. Re-enter over land (exclude Poipet). Visit the Thai Visa forum as suggested to determine which place will issue you another TV, some will only issue one, but I am unsure whether it is one from that Embassy, or only one allowed that year from wherever. If you have no attachments to Thailand, consider some time in perhaps Vietnam. https://forum.thaivisa.com/

Alright, a classifier.... of the people who could be bothered and were eligible to vote, the majority voted for Brexit You are trying to create a false impression based on people who did not vote. Trying to include those who are ineligible and couldn't be bothered? What you posted sounds to me like an opposition to the true process of democracy... What on earth does a 'majority was gained mean? Anything like a 'majority was won'.....? Reality Please...and as Boris (the PM) said this morning.... “a fantastic year and a remarkable decade for our United Kingdom” Unlike you he does not see the British people as sheep!
  15. Upgrade was a temporary holding area for newer members and if I remember rightly one was automatically moved into it awaiting promotion from Admin. That is why I suspected it may have a few lesser privileges. I hope @frostfire will have an opportunity to take a look.
  16. I was hoping Admin would be able to help... I suspected it was something to do with the group you are in, which currently shows up as 'Upgrade' . Nothing I can do I am afraid. Are you perhaps running an Adblocker?

You a referring to the majority of the British people as sheep. You are stating that a peoples who want independence from being controlled remotely from Brussels as sheep? I don't even understand the OP....the baht is quite strong rather than low. Sterling has improved against the USD since the general election. The baht is also strengthening against the USD. Below 30 this morning. Happy New Year.
  19. I watched Match of the Day and I saw 2 maybe 3 goals denied for offside, using VAR. Well the decision seemed dubious to me. Often it seemed the problem was a player had a finger or a big nose just ahead and that isn't the spirit of offside, the more goals the better in my mind. I like it if it reduces shirt pulling and tactical fouls the ref misses, and my personal hate, diving... but VAR isn't having the impact I had hoped.

  24. I suspect when one decides to move the engines on an air-frame that was designed to have them fitted elsewhere the considerations are far reaching. I am not sure it is only about moving the centre of gravity, but where the thrust is based and where it can produce nose lifting forces. That was foreseen, how it was corrected for, was where it failed. This is a thread for the A380, there is already another one for the 737 Max where this is discussed.
