If Thai air sticks with the direct BKK to LAX then the redeye to the eastern part of US is okay. I landed and got thru customs and had about 2hrs or so to wait for the 1230 to Houston, then two more hours to wait in Houston for my flight further East. I thought the connections were ok.

Correct decision there. I stayed in the larger rooms and could hear the couple next door yelling at each other, could hear the chairs upstairs scraping when moved, heard the shouting in the hallways. Very nice hotel and you hear nothing from the outside, but walls are paper thin.

First go to top of Royal Gardens for the view from there. It is also decent place to get a bite to eat in my opinion. Not a real high up place to view but it is free. Same with swimming pool floor ate Mikes male, but Royal Gardens is better view.

BillWilson, I purchased my ticket pns-iah-lax-bkk on the 20th of June for about 1750US. As of today I have not been charged the extra fuel sur charge that was added last Wednesday. I did get a notice that my return flight portion from LAX to Houston had been moved up by 20 minutes or so. I got seats 45D going and 54D coming back. I really doubt I'll get the return trip as booked; the return will be in early October and I suspect Thai Air will not do a 'straight to LAX' flight. More than likely land at Osaka for gas. Hope that doesn't get me into LAX too late for the red eye to Hous

Put a pool table in ONLY if you have a plan to take it out. What criteria are you going to use to justify keeping it. How many fights over who won or who's turn is next before you decide to take it out. How often do guys get pissed because they can't play or have to play who ever the fuch thinks he owns the table because he just won a game. How much dust on it before you decide the space is better used for something else ? Your bar, up to you; I think it is a bad idea. There are plenty of places to play pool now.

Kayak.com Planes were either Delta or Koren Air code share with Delta out of Atlanta via Inchon. Flew KAL last year, not too bad, better than AA or Northwest. Not as nice as Cathay. Those are only ones I've flown so far. Had one also that was AA thru Narita and back using KAL via Inchone to Atlanta. $1342 as of 6/14/2008

Nice enough pool, good water pressure, fine lavatory, fast elevator, good security, decent food in restaurant. Not to far from 2nd road when you walk thru the shopping mall, no problem bringing back guest, front desk phones your room for your okay when guest leaves, moto thingy to take you up to 2nd or down to Soi Baukhoa. Do not pay for entire stay up front. I wasn't in your room, my room had thin walls. Pay one or two days only. Then if you no like, you find another place. Tims boutique not too far away.

Price from Pensacola Florida two weeks ago was 1200. Then it went to 1350. Went up to 1550 then back down to 1350 ish. Im holding off for ten more days because I think the price drops about 90-100 days before flight, then I will jump on the ticket. BUT, I am getting nervous, maybe the 90/100 days out wont drop. Oh well, now I know 1200 wasn't a bad price. This was for a late Sept flight.

I enjoyed reading this and loved all the pics. I saved off the ones with the food, great stuff there.
