Hi RT! I've noticed over the last 3 weeks models posing outside the bar opposite the new Boat 7/11 on Pattaya Tai. 3 different occasions , 3 different sets of models. They all seemed professional with all the gear and stuff. A few times they did "crowd" scenes all with happy smiling people having fun! Maybe the TAT are trying to attract weekend tourists from BKK......???

Very true....perhaps some are born with a stay at home gene whilst others are checking skyscanner in the womb.....I am definitely the latter... but whether it is personal choice or DNA or life experience, we all have different values. Mine just happen to be the opposite of people that I "grew up" with but I wouldn't deny them their lifestyle whether it be a concious informed decision on their part or based on whether their parents watched Corrie or Whickers World........ Fuck I would have loved to have seen Kai Tak through his eyes .....

You and I are kindred spirits! But there is one important point I wish to raise. Some of the people that I grew up with in a small Dorset village have very rarely travelled and I doubt if they have shagged anything other than white women and almost certainly only one at a time! There is nothing wrong with that! It is their choice, nobody is wrong and nobody is right. We are different people with different lifestyles that is all.

Very good question and I don't think you will be surprised to hear my response. I "lived my dream" whilst working! I travelled the world on shit loads of money, shagging everywhere I went, drinking and eating in shitholes and in top class restaurents in equal numbers.... But I don't miss it...Where I live at the moment is me. It is who I am deep down inside my Psyche.

I have had a fantastic life, in the Army, then working as a Permie before going contracting. Bloody fantastic. Being a contractor meant I didn't "retire" ... Job offers were becoming less desirable for the money on offer so I just stopped replying to job offers from agencies and only worked if a friend called. So "retirement" wasn't a clear cut on/off switch for me but I guess getting my Army pension when I reached 60 was the nearest to being a definitive point. Although I have taken one contract since then and would do so again if a mate called that I could trust. What has become very important to me is being true to myself in everything I do and therefore am very happy with my life. I won't be bullied into changing my lifestyle to fit into other peoples' view of "normal". There was a YT Pattaya vlogger called Ian Black (I think) and he filmed me sitting in a bar at 8am and went on to disparage my lifestyle without knowing anything about me....He had no idea what I had done prior to having that beer and nor did he know what my plans were afterwards. The mate that got me a contract here in '96 died at his PC a few years ago ... It's not worth it guys!!!!

It is a travesty that the "boat" 7/11 on Pattaya Tai doesn't sell beer and yet has the best 7/11 seating options that I know! As you look at the photo the sun goes left to right.It would be so bloody easy to put some nice shades up there on the right hand side..."Nice" WTF am I talking about ....a few metres of green or black "farmers netting" would suffice!!!!

Do you remember the old goat that used to sleep on the 7/11 steps on Khao Talo?? They should get one of those to attract the old goats that live in Nirun ..!!

I have no idea about the reservoirs but all of my neighbours have been capturing rainwater for washing etc...Personally my monthly water bill for July was 30 baht!!!

Makro do 1kg for 90 baht (frozen of course) but didn't have any in last time I went in. Also Britishop had sprouts in last week and do free delivery over 1,000 baht ... but they didn't have any this week My plan this year was to fly back to visit my family and at the same time pick up some seeds that I thought might grow ....May be next year!!

Been there a few times but I was staying in Hounslow at the time so very easy to get in and out but it will be shit if you are living Cornwall etc ...Lets see though ...
