  1. I swear it was the death of Wetherspoons on Buakhao when they got rid of the Manager that brought in all the beer choices ... but I still have my free "Donker" glass from there ..
  2. Fucking brilliant! You have caught her look perfectly. That mouth, those eyes and that ass ....surely not the same Ammy ..??
  3. I think he must be quietly trying to suppress his inner joy at the Covid lockdown and lack of tourists. He must be dreading any mass influx of visitors ......
  4. - Dental smile 3rd road. - Junction of Pattaya Tai and 3rd road (Tony's Gym/Walkabout Creek/Veggie Restaurant) - Walk East on Pattaya Tai past Friendship direction turn left onto 3rd road heading North and it is on the left about 3 shops before the first soi. Tel:0863388568 .It opens at 0930hrs but "operations" start at 11am. Whilst waiting in reception other customers have been Thai female adults, Thai female children and farang male adults. EDIT= If you are on a motorcye then use the route I described earlier but drive passed it to the soi by the 7/11 and do a u-turn up onto the pavement and park outside.
  5. It looks a fair sized plot.....I wonder if it is gonna have a nice outside seating area like the "boat" 7/11 on Pattaya Tai.....
  6. Just a quick update. I went back on Tuesday to have the temporary filling removed, cleaning and refilling. I got home just before a thunderstorm hit and knocked out my internet for 2 days...!!! Final visit for root canal work will be next Tuesday.....
  7. Oh...so you are questioning another person's lifestyle...Shouldn't you be on ThaiVisa??
  8. Exactly. which fits in with my final comment in the initial post.
  9. OK, I zoomed in on the map and and you are technically correct - but not by much. The junction with Suk is Pattaya soi 46 which goes straight and Arunothai starts after a few metres.
  10. Totally agree with both these two posts from Jacko and Bazle... I'd like to ask all the posters below how many times they walked at night from the Arunothai/Sukhumvit junction (that starts at the 7/11 and food place) to Nirun?? I don't like walking it during the day, sod doing it at night!!. Probably one on the worst roads in Pattaya for aggressive soi dogs ....during the day!!!. Of course it has improved since they cleared out one wooded area but prior to that ( during which you lived there) that road ..during the day ...not only had aggressive soi dogs but snakes and rats ..I guess I have seen an average of 2 live snakes a month there ( maybe the same one twice of course) but many more flattened on the road. If you are saying walk in the safe area you will be safe but if you walk in a scary area you will be scared then I totally agree with you. Walking passed the school up soi 9 to New Plaza is a breeze!!
  11. Hahaha yeh my sons loved that too...but just prior to the shutters being pulled down it is also great fun to watch the chinese tour groups determined to take their turn at the parasailing as the storm hits ......
  12. Or maybe they were shown a can of sausages or even "compo" sausages ...
  13. Just thought I'd update:- Last night was quite painful as the drugs wore off but this was to be expected so I took some pain killers and had a good nights sleep ... From what I experienced on my two visits so far I thoroghly recommend this place, especially if you are a coward like me ...!!! EDIT = I will add prices when each "activity" is completed.
  14. Yup ...The root removal in Myanmar had a 10/10 pain rating....and took 2 hours...This place 1/10 purely for the "vibration" of the drill. In Myanmar, when I asked for an injection for the grinding down of the tooth in preparation for the crown he said "no need - not have nerve anymore"...
  15. Well well well.. What a fantastic place this is!! 20 minutes root canal surgery! Done, dusted and painless...Not even the injections hurt because she swiped the area with some sort of numbing liquid...!! It may have been nearer to 15 minutes, but the reason it went so smoothly was because she only had to remove the temporary filling from my consultation visit on Saturday and grind a little deeper to get to the nerve . I now have to go back next week, and the week after, for cleaning before a permanent filling is done. The dentist and I had a bit of a laugh at the prospect of me wanting a filling rather than a crown after I said " I'm 64....it doesn't have to last too long!!"
  16. Yep. Some time last year I compared transferring different amounts of money using my TSB Account (Set transfer fee but worse exchange rate) versus using TW... (Variable transfer fee but better exchange rate) IIRC the crossover was approximately 1,000 quid. Below 1,000 TW was better. Above 1,000 TSB was better ..
  17. How about just paying for the recuperation bit - I'll be quick!!
  18. Or you could just send me a cheque to cover the dentist fees and for "recuperation"
  19. Excellent... Can't wait to see the look on the staff faces when they see how she has "developed" ...
  20. How will seating be arranged and allowed? My daughter, her friend and I currently live in the same house. We aint gonna sit 1m away from eachother with a plastic partition between us.....
  21. Excellent news...My daughter heads off to start a new life in Bangkok on Thursday ... I'll do my best to pop in ..
  22. Thanks for the words of encouragement !!! I had one done in Myanmar a few years ago and the dentist is lucky to be alive I can bloody tell you!!!
  23. I went in there Saturday because I had chipped my tooth eating fried frog, then my filling fell out. 800 baht for consultation, x-ray and temporary filling. I go back for root canal tomorrow.. I'd like to give a big shout out to Midlifecrisis but I'll do that in the chair tomorrow. Instead, a nod to him .......well more of a headbutt than a nod really...... He should be burned at the stake over mildly warm ashes very slowly. In one of the lockdown threads he predicted how things could quickly deteriorate from toothache, to chipped tooth, to root canal surgery....... I hadn't realised that he was refering directly to me !! BURN THE WITCH !!
  24. Fantastic TR . Thanks! The Mexican on soi 2 is my daughter and my favourite eating place in Bangers. A fantastic choice of tequilas in there..!! The shots of the near empty roads by the BTS are unbelievably quiet compared to the days when I was a field engineer for TAC in 96/97 when the BTS was still undergoing major construction work! Thank You!!
  25. Please don't start me on pumpkins... I am trying to get my male flower to shag my female flower to make a baby but they don't seem to get horny at the same time....Maybe tomorrow morning...
