I would say, as a Brit who takes part in holiday small talk almost daily, that Brits ( and probably all Euros) expect better than that. That's why we have trouble thinking that Pattaya could be successful as a family resort, as it isn't up to the standard of other resorts. That's why we have so much difficulty getting our heads around the idea of families visiting Patts as we know that without the women as Patts pales in comparison to the resorts your average Euro goes on holiday to, and is more expensive. Thanks mate. However that's what i do and also do at the bus station and on 2n Rd at Pattaya Tai , so I am aware how to work the baht buses at terminals. However the drivers come round and tried to get 100bht from me. Must have happened 3 different times before I gave up trying and just walk round the corner to flag them down. It must be tried by the drivers reasonably often i would have thought as 3 BMs have reported it in a thread with just a few hundred views. No big deal. It was day time or early evening I went to Jomtien.

I always found when visiting Jomtien, that if I tried to get on a bahtbus at the school, they would want to charge me for chartering it. I always had to walk round the corner and flag a bahtbus down. After about 3 times,I stopped trying to get on at the school. Do you take barfines home on the bahtbus?
