At what point is a person a LDOP a fool on a stool
gaijin replied to Parkwahn's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
No, I can't force any one to spend their money the way I see fit, but they can't stop me from calling them an idiot for the way they do either. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk -
If you don't like baht buses and the bullshit they pull, learn how to ride a motobike and rent one. Same as riding a bicycle to me. I get around town stress free and at my own leisure. One of the few times I had to use a baht bus last trip was when I took a TG and her niece to the movies. Afterwards, she had to drop her niece off back the family's shop and it was getting late like around midnight. Well this girl is notorious for taking a long fucking time every time she leaves me and says is coming back. To the point I get pissed off but dammit I do enjoy fucking her. Wanted to protect my

MK Restaurant, Central Festival (updated March 20, 2016)
gaijin replied to Evil Penevil's topic in Restaurants and food
I go to MK every trip, sometimes several times. Duck is their signature dish. Also the garlic and green noodles are pretty good. -
I dropped in here and looked around before and I would have taken a room had they had one available for my entire stay. I would have had to move out 2 days before departure. Anyways this place IMO is a hidden good value for the money hotel. The location being off the beaten path doesn't bother me as I ride a moto everywhere. Its quite popular for long stays as I remember a lot of rooms were booked up by those staying 6 months or a year.

I'm seeing an Elite Member section from Tapatalk. Does something really exist or is it on a need to know basis?

The rates don't even seem like a good deal. Room are tiny as well. 26sq m?

A group of us took a break from a Soi 6 crawl last March, and we all sat down and ordered off the menu not knowing the Sunday roast was on. I didn't notice until I had already ordered and smelled something great from 10ft away and have been thinking about that roast this whole past year. I am coming back in April to have some of that Sunday Roast. One of my few must do's for the trip.

Good to hear about the discos not being so sausagefest. When I was in town last March it was a sausagefest everywhere. It was difficult to even find good looking girls that were available, then you don't even know if they'd be interested in you. I actually got rejected a few times which really surprised me. I'll be in town late April and I plan to put my game to the test again.

opening a bank account in Pattaya?
gaijin replied to loveless's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I've heard some banks close out your account if its been inactive for a long period of time. Is that true? If it gets closed out after a yr of inactivity then a Thai account won't do me any good. -
Babydolls is one of my favorite gogos, and I'm surprised the staff would do that, although they are notorious for being VERY pushy for drinks. I'd have done the same thing, she should not have gotten herself a drink without permission.

Good for you. Just keep your head on your shoulders and don't fall for any scams. Its always nice to hang out with other guys especially during the daytime when there's nothing to do. Join some bar crawls or put up a post to see if any board members are in town to meet up with. I was hooked on Pattaya after my first trip also.

Just so you know, if you started a donation request, I'd much rather donate to this site than Addicts.

The 2012 Miss Pattaya Motor Pagent
gaijin replied to RhinoTusk's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Holy Fuck! -
I agree if you're gonna get a big bike you ought to have enough money then to also buy a scooter, for zipping around town. I guarantee you you'll be riding the scooter more unless you really need to ride the big one to compensate for......ahem.........something.

Sea View Room vs. Me Room at Sea Me Spring hotel. Soi 10
gaijin replied to satyr's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Stayed in somewhat of a seaview room there in March, I was on the 3rd floor with my balcony facing the Beach, and paid for it as a Deluxe room. Like Tomcat said, if you wanted the view I'd stay on highest floor possible. On the lower floors its not really that much of a view, just a little bit. In a few months the hotel won't have a view as there's another hotel going up that will completely block it. I would just stay in a Deluxe room, facing the soi 10 side. -
I love me some roast lamb, if I was in town I'd be there right now.

You definitely don't need a car IMO, motobikes are the preferred way of getting around town. For the odd occasion you need a car just hire a taxi or rent one, buying a car is pretty expensive in Thailand. And I would rent a apartment/condo to start with for a good period of time. Just curious, have you and your husband visited Pattaya before and are you ok with him banging Thai girls? Do you like to join in the fun? How do you know of Pattaya?

Carl's Jr Central Festival Pattaya American Fast Food
gaijin replied to tequilareef's topic in Restaurants and food
Where do they get the beef from? -
Hello to you all. Choices and racism.
gaijin replied to shetty's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Last trip I hung out with a newbie Indian American, and every night was with us on Walking St hitting all the gogos. He never got stopped at the door while with the small group of mixed Asians and whites, American, British, etc. From what I know he didn't have trouble on his own either. He wasn't particularly a big spender but bought his fair share of drinks and lady drinks. You don't have to throw money around to be accepted, just act yourself and enjoy. -
I was just thinking about that, that was funny as hell!!!

4 weeks is longer than I've ever stayed. I wish I could stay 4 weeks. Time flies by fast. I don't think I could get bored of Pattaya after 4 weeks. At the same time it sounds just long enough to settle down and not be in a hurry every night to party like a rockstar. Perhaps not even taking a girl home every night.
