Work for an aircon mob here in Australia. Been trying to get them to open a Thai branch for years but so far no success but we live in hope. They gone India, U.A.E. and Vietnam and hopefully soon in Thailand. Will let you know when we open up there and be happy to help out.

Stayed there 3 or 4 years ago for a couple of weeks. It is on Soi 4 maybe 100 yard from the main drag so quite a way from the beach although not too far to stroll to get baht bus to Pattaya or Jomtien. I would describe it as a basic studio with everything you would need with the added extra of jacuzi in bathroom if that is your scene. Not high rise (2 storey) so no great views. Need to watch what they charge on top of rent for power and water. IMHO an OK place to stay.

Hi Callum, For road trip I would certainly be interested in Cambodia casino visit - but you sure it still open - this old brain seems to recall reading somewhere that it may have been closed to appease the Thais but may be wrong.

Hi Callum, Of course will be there again for this fabulous event. As you are well aware handicap is ME but still managing to stick with an XXL shirt I think. More than happy to take on assistant role to organiser if numbers top the limit or are not even pairings. Cheers Steveo

IMHO Ibis hotels are shit based upon one time experience here in Australia. Was put up at Ibis Homebush Bay a couple of years ago for a conference in Sydney. Exterior and foyer were fine but just a front for the worst, dirtiest and lack of amenities hotel room I have ever stayed in. Never get me again no matter where.

Would not fancy being in Phil if Pacquiao loses. He is a National hero there(rightfully so IMHO) and I reckon there will riots in the street again if he gets done over and the FLB band will probably have a few nights off in mourning. Sorry cannt help OP with the time of the fight.

Hmmmm - tough call this year - Rideher Cup has traditionally always been held on the first Monday in November - this year that is 2nd November - complication is 2nd November this year is also Loy Krathong. Tough call Callum though does not bother me.
