I assumed that the jack hammering noise he heard was coming from either the construction site next to the AA Residence or the Golden Crab expansion which are not that far away from SS. The Lek would be about the same distance from these sites or even farther away than SS.

The Holiday Mansion and Mansion 75. One thing about these monthly rates is that you have to pay for water/electricty. Housekeeping at the Holiday Mansion is free only once a week, 100 baht for each additional day. Housekeeping at Mansion 75 is only free once every 2 weeks.

BigD, I know the Sunshine has offered that discount, don't recall seeing it offered at the Sunbeam which I've been told charges a joiner fee.

I stayed at Flipper House last year in mid May on this same promotion. I think it lasted about 2 months and the Sunshine had the same type of promotion Flash, my room was in the new wing and I thought the room was rather small. After my stay at the Flipper House I moved to the Bella Vista for a few days. They were charging 600 baht a night which include a breakfast. I liked the room better than the Flipper House and thought the bed was much softer, only negative was that it didn't have a pool.

I've used Khrongfa 7 times without any problems. They are based in Pattaya so they know their way around the town. Cost is 1200 for a private car plus parking (50 baht) and tolls (150baht). If you arrive close to the Thai limo mini bus departures times you can take them for 200 baht. The one problem with the bus to Pattaya is if you arrive late at night as they don't run late at night. Pattaya to the airport is cheaper. Many taxis charging as low a 750. Again the Thai Limo mini bus for 200 ( you have to get to their office on 3rd Rd) but with only 3 depatures and mini vans through travel agencies for 300 baht.

Are you sure your not confussing the Nova Lodge with the Nova Park. Nova Lodge is old and rundown, while the Park is less than 2 years old.

Same day throughtout LOS. Thus holiday is like Easter in that it bounces around each year with the moon. In 2001 it was on October 31st and this past year around the 26th of November. Each year you need to check the Thai calander.

The exterior work on the condo project is nearing completion, the bad news is the expansion on the Golden Crab is going to be 6 floors and a Thai lady who works there said the project should be finished next year.

I use the dental clinic located in Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4. Not the cheapest in Pattaya but still cheaper than your home. They have a website so you can contact them for a price quote and make a reservation. I've been very happy with them and I know Pete, Hilly, Ben and Moulee use them.

Here's another route from Soi 8. Walk up to the corner of 2nd Rd and Centeral Pattaya Rd (Pattaya Klang) Jump on a baht bus heading east towards Sukhumvit Highway and get off at Sukhumvit (10 baht). Then jump on a baht bus heading south and get off at the Mall located on the corner of Sukhumvit and Thepassit Rd (10 baht).

I've found that you get your best rates as a walk up when the manager is on duty. Once you've stayed there before and have talked to the manager I was able to get the same rate dealing with the manager through email. I think that if your dealing with one of the Pattaya hotels that offer monthly rates then your going to get that same rate whether you walk up or book with then by email as these generally charge a monthly rate that is equal to 10 times their daily rate.

I took a look at the place a few weeks back. They have 5 types of rooms and the published rates are for daily, monthly and multiple months.

I discovered the place this past November and I considered it the best hotel deal when you can use the monthly rate. There are a few reviews listed, must look under "T" to find them. Its better suited for the person who is not afraid to stay off the beaten path or who has a GF.

She is putting big demands on me and unfortunately I'm due back the end of April. I think when you took her to the male go-go that you made her very horny, she even watch one of the CD's you burned for me.

Sunbeam is the only one in the soi 7/8 area that I've heard that charges a joiner fee.

There was activity when I was by a few days back, but still many months away from completion.

While getting a little exercise in this morning I noticed another Eastinny property on Soi 10 called Eastinny residence. Construction update for those of you who stay on Soi 13. Haven project finished, project between Ma Maison and Golden Grab is still on the ground floor, condo project is nearing completion on the exterior and the project next to the AA Residence has finished with the demolition of the old bars and removal of the debris. Right now I wouldn't be afraid of staying there, however I'm a heavy sleeper and rise early. My only concern would be if they began pile driving on the project next to the AA. Emil

Another option for your laptop security is to buy a safe in Pattaya, maybe between 3000-4000 baht for one large enough for laptop. If your staying for a period of time it could be cost effective for a cheaper room and leave the safe inLOS> Emil

You might find a room your looking for in the bottom range of hotels listed in the reviews. Many of those hotels listed have suites that cost above the 1000 baht range.

Completely different hotel. I did a review on this hotel back in January. They didn't have a web site back then but I liked the place and considered it the best hotel value that I've stayed in Pattaya.

If you would like a pool then I would recommend The Holiday Mansion, best roo is 12,000 a month. In that same area as Lolita's, there must be around another 12 small places that have opened in the last year.

Be sure to check whether your monthly rate includes utilities and daily house cleaning.

Check into a place that you've stayed in the past for a few days and then check out some recommended place. For an excellent deal I would recommend The Holiday Mansion rooms that cost 12,000 a month + utilities.
