I was there for Sept 11 last year. All that rain and flooding totally fucked up my visit to Pattaya with my BKK TG. Going to try again in May. I hope there's none of that awful rain.

I thInk you need to send him the money. I've had the same problem with both Thai and Bangkok Airways.....they want to see the credit card that made the booking at check-in. Seems kind of dumb to me as it must cost them business. It's never a problem in North America or Europe....they don't care as long as you've paid.

Spread or commission, an unnecessary payment is an unnecessary payment. You lose on either and both. Change currencies twice and you lose twice. Not something I would do if once is sufficient.

You must like giving away money, paying commission on two exchanges when only one is necessary.

How far in advance did you book?

I've been checking Thai for a return to Khon Kaen for GF and me in May and its about 8,500 Baht for two of us.

I had a crap connection yesterday. The audio was terrible, breaking up, but the video not too bad.

Before the recent update/upgrade of the board I had my settings set at 40 posts per page. Since the update it seems to be set at 25 posts per page. I can't find where to put it back to 40 posts a page. Am I missing something or is it no longer possible?

Your photos are great. But you missed the most attractive part of Bangkok Airways, their abundance of beautiful young ladies who provide the charming airline service. That's what really sets Bangkok Air apart from any Western airline.

Stayed in this hotel in Sept and would never stay there again. I wasn't given the room I had advance paid for but was instead 'upgraded' to another. I had paid for a southwest facing suite closest to the beach and was given a northeast facing suite furthest away from the beach. I received no adequate addressing of the issue at reception and after complained to Asia Travel through whom it was booked. I got complete bullshit back in writing from the hotel manager with no acknowledgement of any mistake on their part. Our balcony in the room we got was covered with bird shit from pigeons.

Jack, I wish you all the best. Hope your health improves and you can spend several months in LOS chasing the girls. I hope to see you in Pattaya sometime next year. Do try my approach. I just returned from LOS a couple of weeks ago after spending 12 days with a very nice lady from BKK whom I met on TLL and whose command of English is excellent. She has many fine other attributes.

Jack, if you entertain yourself at home for an hour a day meeting girls on Thai Love Links you can determine before you leave home that the answer will be Yes and that there isn't a language problem. An hour a day on TLL and/or Messenger with a cam with a beautiful TG is better than watching hockey on TV. It can offer you variety in LOS. But as the girls say 'Up to you.'

I would endorse Lovedog's suggestion to try the dating sites. Spend an hour a day on them and chat to a variety a ladies. Do that in addition to the other suggestions that have been made and you will expand the possibilities. Keep a few chats going for a few days and see where it leads. You can move from the dating site to Messenger and use a cam to see them. I would also suggest you expand your search from Pattaya to Bangkok and consider spending a week or two there after you've scouted some potentials on dating sites and can go to places where you can meet non P4P ladies. Looks like a good place. Do you have any photos of the shower and the balcony and the view from the balcony?

The Hiltons in BKK and Hua Hin are both guest friendly as is the Conrad in BKK. So I'd be surprised if the Hilton in Pattaya is any different. I have, however, concluded it is unfriendly to all guests....I just tried to book 2 nights in about 3 weeks time and they want 9,000 fucking Baht/night. That's what I call unfriendly so I won't be staying there.

The Sandy Spring has an elevator and bathtubs in the rooms. Easy access to everywhere. Nice views, reasonable price, GF.
