    Is this based on a recent visit? I was going to try that place in a week or so when I get there, but heard it had changed hands and wasn't as good as old reports would suggest.

    Having stayed at Opey and also J&P Court about 50 metres away, got to say J&P wins. Only problem is no wifi (maybe they have now, not sure).

    Koh Samet........ went there on a thai holiday and couldn't find a fookin room, ended up at the back of a bar/restaurant in a fleapit for 120 baht - left for Koh Chang next morning, never been back to Samet since.
