You're black these days Ting Tong you don't have the same rights as us magentas ............. You needn't do anything ...............t'm sure MM will sort it for you when he sees this thread. -
The film took me to wiki and wiki to the book of the same name.............. Other than this I'm into re-reads of books and authors that have meant something to me over the years.

Took my son to the cartoon water park..... half a day is about right. He's been spoiled by the plethora of theme parks on the Gold Coast. This is indeed a new and welcome addition and looks like fun. i've noticed that many attractions........Like the tow-wire water skiing park in Jomtien are just left to rot. And indeed Pattaya Park is looking tired. The Go kart track on Teprasit and to a lesser extent the one at Bali-Hi could do with some love and care. I consider myself and my son lucky in that our 3 trips to the flight of the Gibbon were without incident.

I just got back last night from Oz. Thai is the only airline that flies BKK Brisbane direct ....And time for me was of the essence I only had 3 full days there to watch my son play football and rugby. The Thai direct flight is just 8 and a half hours and was only a couple of quid dearer than than the regular much longer BKK Sydney Brisbane variety... Just be careful......... On the very day I booked some of the 'cheap fare comparison sites' had the same economy class Dreamliner flight a third more expensive. In my duty to the board from another thread I had a quick look inside the coc

Tinnies Thailand, Australian Pie Shop in Jomtien
atlas2 replied to Evil Penevil's topic in Restaurants and food
I'm in the LOP 'Land of Pies' Australia right now. My son played soccer Thursday .... I had a pie. Today he played rugby in the morning... I had a pie for breakfast..... Thenhe played soccer and it was pie for lunch. I've decided pies are for eating outside that's when they are at their best....they've all been delicious here.... Funnily enough I go to Tinnies two or three times a week for their sandwiches. -
I'm loving this......... GB based on equal golds but more silvers than China go 2nd.

I fought for the Renshuden in Camden Town as a boy......... Respect was drilled into us.........I did let myself down just once in a team match when another boy.....(useless at Judo) repeatedly kicked my shins without any attempt to throw me. I broke contact with him kicked him back and called him a cunt. The ref must have thought I had a a point because we were both penalised. Though my trainer, at that time the UK light heavyweight champ gave me a severe talking to. The fact that I won anyway perhaps helped to modify him. But I learnt my lesson. At the highest level the Olympics.

Since I read 'BKK 8' I've understood that there are 3 types of taxi drivers: the 'belt and braces' gang, (amulets and seat-belts), then the slow, safety first, belted-up drivers, and finally the terrifying, 'it's in the hands of the gods' taxi drivers ...........The latter believe not only will the amulets, inscriptions by monks and regular offerings of bottles of red soda and cigars will not only protect their lives but also call down vengeance on anyone that cuts in front!! I know that when they built Suvarnabhumi so many workers died that they built a block of apartments to house

Excellent.......... Here's the Yorkshire equivalent ......

Yes I did spot an opportunity for a joke there but thought I'd leave for an observant US BM to make. 'Go U S A'...........unless GB have a medal chance...In which case I hope you see stars and we stripe your Yankee bottoms.

Bumping this thread.........Seems to be a lack of interest on the board compared even to the Super Bowl. Phelps.......GOAT? 'Greatest of All Time' He's got more golds already than the UK has in it's Swimming History. Fantastic! Two things from me: I'm forgoing my morning swim and gym because I'm watching events live from 'early doors'....The Olympics are making me fat!! (Fatter) ..And I've changed. Prior to this Olympics It's always been GB No.1, (still is) and Ireland,The Aussies,Kiwi's, Canada, if the UK's not involved.... and of course a soft-spot for Thailand. But now I'm

I know it's the Moodys......Always searching for something ...But don't hold that against them....... This is two of their best. Quite stirring stuff. Surprised me.

There's always been cheating.......and cash involved in the Ancient games ......In the modern era pollution from the Seine in Paris........While In the first London Olympics events awash with drug enhanced athletes. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/ancient-history-cheating-olympics-180960003/ But when you see the finest physics specimens on the planet parade in their national costumes and beaming smiles it gives you just a little hope we can come together.

Today I was watching Trump....and the Cowboy hats and the pure Americana of a Rep convention..... And for some reason this old clip came to mind......... Apart from ex 'Wrecking Crew' Glen Campbell nowadays blighted by the grip of Alzheimers, I haven't a foggiest who the rest are.......What James T Kirk is doing there I don't know!! . But what a great rendition. So relaxed so in control of the music. PS the 'Wrecking Crew' were the greatest ever bunch of session musicians

You see the thing about sharia is pressure the closed muslim society uses so that even women apply for it's judgement. 'Stockholm syndrome?' .......... That place will soon be muslim anyway. And the self-neutered mutter 'What's wrong with that? Better than being a racist like you atlas2'

I hope if she is muslim that she doesn't live in Pakistan.... Another honour killing....by her brother... http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-36814258
