  1. I fondly recall one of your earlier submissions Evil, re-the Vietnamese restaurant in Central……..Your dining companion had her ample breasts dangling in the dumplings I recall. Yesterday, my regular who's back in town asked me to take her there again. The food was always great and the house wine really good. Sadly we discovered it's gone……That whole stretch now is taken up with a billboard announcing the coming of another Japanese eatery!! Buggar! You've no idea if it's been relocated?
  2. The girls can send you stupid stickers for you to interpret their deepest love in when the reality they are too lazy or busy to be bothered with the English. I like what app and FaceTime
  3. My first extension was done using proof of income…… But I decided it was a pain to do... plus my consulate, (then in Pattaya) had me pay 2500bt for the letter. So next year……used 800,000 baht in deposit account which I was told I could transfer to another account a week before submitting my application for another year extension. Worked fine... no problem. The next year I was told by my bank I do do exactly the same. So I did. Problem……. ….'Cannot' 'Why?' "This account no good." "But I do last year and it was OK" "This year cannot..Must be in your other account for 3 months"

  5. IRISH JOB INTERVIEW Mick had applied for a fermentation operator post, at a famous Irish firm, based in Dublin. A Pole applied for the same job and since both applicants had similar qualifications, they were asked to take a test by the Manager. When the results were in, both men had scored 19 out of 20. The manager went to Mick and said, "Thank you for coming to the interview, but we’ve decided to give the Polish man the job." Mick said, "And why would you be doing that? We both got 19 questions correct." "This being Ireland and me being

  7. I liked 'Happy Together' …… it was so catchy……..Still is. At the time 'Itichycoo Park' and the Small Faces seemed quirky and lightweight to yours truly………I recognize I was just being a snob. Hearing it now evokes great memories. Music was all over the place coming at you from a new direction almost monthly. Inspired by blues, folk, country, rock, India, soul, ska, classical and the Archies! Fashions came and went in weeks. I remember my uncle on noticing one of my more colourful sartorial statements saying' "atlas lad, when you look back one day you'll realize what a wanker you looked.
  8. Yes I udderly utterly enjoyed this review……….. MK is not for me however. I was in MK at the Harbor Mall in Lam Chabang today……….I can't fault it in any way, just not for me.
  9. The small bottles of 'Clawiwa' were two for 35 in Boots……A bigger bottle with about 10 MLs more than the two combined was 70 baht….That was the better deal but I never use anything and only wanted a small in your pocket bottle for a trip out to the wilds of Sakon Nakhon I'm taking with a friend. Wasn't looking to save money. Meanwhile back to sloppy seconds on soi 6…... I've never been in Skeeter's I must do so. 'EP' gets everywhere.
  10. I was just at my insurance company next to Big C…..so I took the opportunity to pop into the food court for breakfast, kow kapow gai si ky dow…….45 baht!! And while eating noticed a sign on at one of the counters saying…"Pig lower intestines and rice, 30 baht" Somehow I managed to resist the temptation…enticing as it sounded. But just thought, given this thread that I'd pass the info' on to any of our American soul-food gourmets who have a taste for 'chitterlings' Also….off subject I know……But I bought mosquito spray, 2 for one @35 baht and had a shoe repaired @20 baht.
  11. I'd forgotten about this one hit wonder………. Very well written……."Not much between despair and ecstasy" I was a chess fan long before I visited BKK and liked the song for it's chess references……….that's all gone out the window and this song more than any other conjures up 2001 and my first visit to a BKK a go-go…... http://youtu.be/F5kwsbcWG5k
  12. No I said to you, "Cor Jacko! That's a ladyboy!!" 'She' had her hands over your ears….. and you had your mouth full at the time…...easy mistake!

  14. Excellent………You can't beat that. I shall try this place out.
  15. Yeah…… Men can use Khrap or Ka….. Women never Khrap I imagine it's just to show who's boss…….. Sorry can't add more…..I'm watching 'Miss Korea' on the telly before the golf. Not a tattoo or ladyboy in sight…….Stunning bodies….but they all look like clones.
  16. Picture coming Sorry couldn't load.
  17. If this is not the best ever one hit wonder……(and it might not be)…What is??
  18. Don't get this……the video didn't play?? But talking about corruption of English……. Just watching an old Roger Moore Bond film that was introduced by the Thai announcer as…... Jams Bond soon soon jet…….For Your Arse Ownry"

    World Cup

I agree with Jacko……..Relatively true of both sides in the final. Question: after watching most of the matches in this Worl-Cup I'm unclear about the legality of shirt-tugging…..Is it an infringement or not?

    World Cup

Yep until the Ryder cup…….. I'd voted for the Jermans but I was hoping Argentina could score. I have to admit to some measure of envy of the Germans. Another World Cup star to add to their shirts………But even when they don't win the thing outright they give their supporters a long exciting run. I'm sure there are coaches and players scratching their heads and wondering just what it is they've got we haven't. Apart from their goalkeeper and Lahm the side's individuals don't really stand out. And it's not just teamwork. A lot of the teams out there could beat Germany……..But they didn'

    World Cup

I think this is a fascinating and well written insight into what previous players have gone through and maybe what the poor Brazilians can expect. Life After 7-1 Barbosa World Cup Final, 1950. Crushing defeat … Brazil's Moacir Barbosa lets in Uruguay's winning goal in the1950 World Cup. Photograph: Popperfoto Next week the players who represented Brazil at this year's World Cup will go on holiday and remember being successes. Born poor boys in most cases, they have become, in every case, extremely rich and envied men. None was universally liked before Tuesday – no footballer quit
