I was in Phuket a while back and there was a Mua Thai show that hawkers were selling tickets to. I can't remember the price but I thought the tickets were priced rather high (1500 maybe). I told the guy that the price was too much and he said that my tilak could come for free. Ya know, if he wanted 750 per seat I would have gone for it but I didn't like the fallang surcharge and didn't go. Later I saw the event itself was charging less (1200?) than what the hawker was.

I'd bet you can get a room if you just showed up at Sutus Court. I've always been able to.

I stayed at the one in AC a while back. The shower door doubled as a bathroom door so either you got water everywhere whilst showering or the bathroom was left open for you or your guests to see everything.

At the very least you will need to add towels as who wants to drag around their own wet one?

Funny, how the agents in Minny were more interested in the sandwich that I had with me from the plane than they were with the loose tea that I had brought from Thailand.

Whilst they want to catch everyone smuggling drugs it's the big stuff that they want. Drugs mostly come into the states whether it's coke, Heroin, Ecstasy or weed. If someone truly wants to export it'd be much easier to go thru Canada and not bother with the Yankee Nazis.

Funny, I just watched a programme on TV and the US customs agents were using box cutters on luggage etc looking for drugs. Surely they can't be right 100% of the time and they have no obligation to fix your stuff afterwards.
